Got a burger and cheesesteak from the food truck at waxhaw tap house and the burger might’ve been the worst ever. Not even worth $2 and very disappointed after waiting 45 minutes, won’t but again.

I was super excited to try a new place. I’ve lived near Waxhaw for close to a year now, and was surprised to see restaurants which do not often come up when searching for food in reviews. I ordered chicken wings, fried mushrooms, and onion rings. The food was okay. Service was good. I will not be going back.

I came across the food truck while checking out the St. Patrick Festival in downtown Waxhaw. Based on what I read, there's a restaurant attached to the food truck with the same name. On the day I went, the restaurant which is located along with a gas station was temporarily closed. It was easy to order. Menus were posted along with prices. Service was good. Credit card machine available for payment. The order took about 20-25 minutes to complete. I ordered the fried mushrooms, onion rings which I was told was homemade and hand-battered. I also order 12 wings with the Carolina sauce. The onion rings did not taste homemade. The fried mushrooms wasn't very flavorful. The wings were a bit over fried. In total I paid $38 with a small tip. The food truck location was good as it is right across from the space used for festivals.

Happen to randomly find this hidden gem while searching for something to eat in downtown Waxhaw. The food was amazing and such generous portions. The cook came up to us and asked us how the food was, now that’s a great chef. I can’t wait to try their wings!! The environment is so cool too with the live band playing. Definitely try them out and bring friends bc it’s a fun place to have a good chill time!

The other day I ate a deep fried chicken sandwich from this place, was ok, was the only thing I ate that day, but the next morning I had a case of food poisoning for hours, ruled out covid and flu cause I had just got tested and came up negative, and this was the only thing I ate between now and then.
