If you're looking for glazed croissants, which I'm hooked on now, this is the place to buy it. The bakery has all kinds of pastries and also serves coffee. It's located in the heart of Waxhaw. So you can have a croissant with coffee and sit outside on a sunny day people watching. Parking might be a little difficult since it's on the main street, but you can park on the side street and walk up.

Nice little bakery in downtown Waxhaw. Only tried a donut, which was tasty. I did notice that most of their items are quite expensive. Our donut was $4 bucks, that's right, $4. So a dozen would have been almost $50. Gonna have to be a one and done at this place.

Got a cheesecake here for my fiancé’s birthday and it wasn’t that great. For the price I paid for it I should have went and got one from the Cheesecake Factory! I had really high hopes it was gonna be great but was disappointed. Maybe their other stuff is better but I don’t recommend getting a cheesecake here.

Do not believe other reviews on here. I been here a couple of times and even have brought my family from Miami here. We always have a great experience with the staff and owner. The bake goods are always fresh and delicious. My family calls us craving their desserts. They can not wait to visitt to come and pick up desserts here.. we love it..

The food looked stale and there was a fly inside the bakery case. The person that was there was not at all friendly.

We love Burneys' pastries. The filled croissants are delicious -- they fill them with your choice of filings while you're there. The coffee cake is also wonderful. I don't understand the complaints about the service -- they've always been friendly and cheerful.

The girl working there was friendly and answered all my questions. Unfortunately the donuts, particularly the red velvet one tasted terrible. It was very hard. The owners should be aware of this and fix it.

owners were incredible rude, yelling at customers and even more at their own staff. i had a glazed croissant and a muffin, and both were old and hard. not at ALL fresh as advertised. i tried twice there and had the same exact experience- will never be returning

The owners have been consistently rude every time I’ve come in and the cupcakes always taste old. The workers on the other hand have always been very kind and attentive.
