Had a high Tea experience at this tea shop for my sister’s birthday. It was really exquisite. The staffs were friendly. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was really really good. Will definitely be back.

My daughter introduced me to the Uptown Tea Shop in Waxhaw a couple of months ago by buying some loose leaf tea for me. It wasn’t until yesterday that I went to the shop with her to see for myself. From the outside, you see a house and there are three shops inside. The quality of the decor could be slightly upgraded. The Uptown Tea Shop is in a medium size bedroom which has been converted to a little store.Here against the walls are nearly every flavor and types of loose leaf teas you can imagine. I typically like herbal teas and caffeine free teas and finding something new was fairly easy. There are also tea accessories such as canisters to keep your teas fresh. The prices I found to be inline with the quality of the teas. The customer service associate was polite, helpful and welcoming; needless to say I will be supporting this small business in the future.

My daughter and I went to High Tea at Uptown Tea in Waxhaw this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The people, the food, the service, the atmosphere were all impeccable! Dani the owner and Kristen (I believe), the chef came in to check on us periodically. The chef described her delicious creations to us from the homemade chicken salad in pastry to the homemade granola on top of Greek yogurt with baked apples we enjoyed every bite! We pushed ourselves to eat the cheesecake bites at the end! I highly recommend this place, we will be back! Thank you to Dani and the chef for a relaxing mother/daughter experience!

This small and cozy little shop is well worth a visit! They have a great assortment of various teas, the assistant was very sweet and helpful, and the Cinnamon Spice Black Tea is the best tea I’ve ever had!

While in waxhaw, nc stop in to this tea shop. They are like potion mixers. They create unique tea blends only found in this shop. They really know tea so tell them what you like and they will suggest a tea blend for you.

Wonderful little tea shop. So many varieties of loose leaf teas. The shop honor was so helpful and kind. Prices are extremely reasonable. You must get a cup of the house Chai for your drive home. It has some magic in it.
