What a great hot dog, and the price was great as well. I recommend the Ruben Dog. Check out the potato chips on the display wall. The price may seem high, but the product is worth it. Lots of local products

As a local, I have been to 828 Market several times and do not have a single complaint. The two main workers, Jojo and Laura, are nothing but helpful and create a safe space for all customers. I recommend this place to everyone, and will continue to do so as long as these two work here !!! <3

I’ve always made a point to visit this business but today the owner/manager decided it was worth them making $6 vs honoring the pricing on their products. I won’t ever return thanks to this poor customer service. It’s too bad they prefer to raise prices and not have the ability to adjust it on their product and then make the customer the bad guy and say “sorry, but prices went up so that’s what it is now”. I run a small business and I’d never treat my customers like this. They should’ve done the right thing and honored the pricing on the product. Hope you guys do better to the next customer.
Edited to add: the price increase was on a bottle of wine, and stores buy wine at a set price and they price that based on their cost, so to raise the price on a product you already purchased and priced based on that, makes this whole thing even more frustrating. On top of that it’s a California wine, so tariff threats aren’t a reason either. I just felt as though I was completely gaslit so she could save $6. Do better.

I am so sad. I saw the Chicken salad on door dash and thought it looked fantastic! I was so disappointed when I opened the box to find a yellow sandwich absolutely drenched in tumeric. The menu may be different in store but on doordash it says absolutely nothing about turmeric. Now granted it would have been fine if it had some tumeric in it but the dang sandwich had so much it was bright yellow! I mean it stained the bun. I actually had to wash off the chicken before remaking the chicken salad with dukes like the good lord intended it. (It could have had dukes in it I just couldn't taste it for all the tumeric!) It made me so sad because I wanted this to taste good! I really did! On another note. The pasta salad was absolutely superb! It was very nice and I knew exactly what I was getting! I'll be back to try something else again and hopefully change my stars! Edit: I'm not against flavor at all! I'm very exotic in my tastes! But this things was drenched! Which would be fine provided it was in the description. But thanks for saying you'll fix that!

The dill pickle macaroni salad was delicious. Was disappointed in the hot dog being on thefatburger list I expected more a larger hot dog or something special not just a plain hot dog

Great eclectic vibe, and can't wait to visit again to try more of their menu! Great coffee and my caprese sandwich was in point. The dill pickle pasta salad was also yummy. My friends hotdogs were accompanied by some local Carolina Tangy BBQ chips😃. I also liked the selection of canned fishes and seafood.

Very lovely aesthetic café. Friendly staff and great quality food. I would be a regular if I lived closer! It’s nice to have a small gift shop incorporated in the store with local and handmade goods.

Stopped in for a first visit 10/19 (post-Helene). They were busy, but the warmth of the staff was unparalleled. Everyone on staff had such a positive energy, you can just tell this is a nice place to work. Great sandwich, sides (dill pickle pasta salad OMG), and beers from the cooler. A fantastic addition to Main St., we can’t wait to return!
