This restaurant is a mom and pops with excellent food. The calamari was amazing and the sweet tea is definitely southern. The bread was hot and fresh. The pastas are excellent as well. A couple of things, we were not told of the specials and would have ordered them had we known of them. Also, do not order an old fashioned. They muddle the cherries and oranges and they are not the right cherries for the drink.

This place is AMAZING! Best Italian food I have ever had! We had a huge group and everything from the appetizers to the desserts were top tier!Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kids with us and they really enjoyed the pizza and the Gelato

It started out kind of weird. We were the first in for dinner. They open at 4, we arrived at 4:10. There was a dog running around the restaurant and looked like they were having a service meeting behind the bar and one of them was smoking. Dogs and smoking do not belong in a restaurant. Our food was great we had the penne pasta and a NY. Strip. The steak was bigger than I thought it would be. We split a lemon cello cake. It was fantastic.

As a local, I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to go here. We went for my birthday. I have tried every other Italian place in the county and this I'd the best IN EVERY SINGLE WAY! The food is amazing- the menu isn't overwhelming. The calamari wasn't rubbery, which is usually what happens. The servers are fantastic and said the owner is the hardest working person they know. I cannot praise them enough. The only drawback would be the acoustics. It was loud and hard to talk with my husband, but could not detract from the experience!Edited for misspelling.

Restaurant is very cosy, really well remodeled and decorated. The service was great and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant and staff was phenomenal. Buttt.. the Fettuccini Alfredo pasta wasn’t that well maid. Chicken, was great though n there homemade lasagna ?

What a great experience dining here was. Food: the egggplant rollitini was amazing. I also like that they provide bread for the table and our entrees came with soup. I also ordered penne alla vodka which is not on their menu but was on their old menu and they were happy to make it for me. Service: Ashely was lovely, attentive, and very polite. Atmosphere: the restaurant is beautifully decorated with winter decor. Quite a magical atmosphere.
I need more space to give all the acolytes we experienced at Amici’s Italian Restaurant in Hazelwood. A charming venue with an attentive owner and servers who obviously enjoy their job.The menu has a wonderful assortment of offerings. The four of us ordered four different entrees with appetizers …..from calamari to clams casino to grilled pork chops, veal and pasta dishes. To say our meals were outstanding would be a gross understatement. Our server, Debbie, was attentive, personable and knowledgeable of the menu items and wines offered.Amici’s is located in the Hazelwood section of Waynesville with a parking lot directly across the street and in the back…..no need to drive around downtown looking for a place to park. If you haven’t been there, I strongly advise giving Amici’s a try. Guarantee you will not be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and vegetatianParking: Parking lot directly across the street. Also street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk to front door entrance is level.
Nice place. Polo de Amici was delicious and bruschetta was amazing. Girlfriend enjoyed her meal as well. Jack and coke was small and not worth the price however.

Broken Alfredo sauce which tasted oily and runny +bland. Up Charged 7 dollars for 2 shrimp on the alfredo. Will not go again.

Food was pretty good- portions are huge, so consider sharing!!!! Main dishes come with a cup of soup or upgrade to a salad for $4....seems kind of odd. Why not just offer soup or salad? News included which was tasty. The service is very slow. Very. Great location w easy parking across the street. Ambiance is odd to me. Very loud music. Very. And the LED lighting is cool instead of warm, so it is hard on the eyes and a simple change if they just change the lightbulbs.
