Bocelli's Italian Eatery

Sat at a table, ordered food and after an hour of waiting we left. We were given no explanation as to why the food was taking so long so we gave no explanation as to why we left. There were 2 other tables that were there longer than us and didn't have their food either. We have no idea if the food is good since we never had any of it. Total waste of time here. Go elsewhere for food. They didn't even notice we left that's how bad it was. Will never go back. Noise level is loud can't have a conversation.

Over an hour with no explanation or update. First beer was warm and was quick with the offer of a second. It was cold but could be colder. After long wait and not knowing when we'd be served, we left. I left half of the 2nd beer. Ruined my date night.

Great find on the back street in Waynesville NC
Wonderful drinks, multiple food selections and quick service.
Their chicken picatta was the BEST of anywhere I've been across the USA. I asked for gluten free so they held the breading and it was a gourmet delight. Juicy and tender breast over risotto with an incredibly savory caper sauce and just enough for some in every bite.
Salads were scrumptious and not the run of mill Italian restaurant iceberg, rather greens with just perfect blend of sunflower seeds and cranberry along with a really incredible peppercorn parmesan dressing!

Calzone was different than I've had anywhere else before. Still very good just different.
Having Guinness on tap was a nice surprise too.

I went with some friends on a weekend. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. I ordered the pizza which was delicious. Definitely recommend.

I suggest you bring a jacket because it's freezing in there. Also we had to keep our feet on the table legs because it was wobbly, so was one of the chairs. Fortunately the food was delicious! The ravioli was covered in a gorgonzola sauce and it was wonderful, so were the garlic knots. The loaded calzone was huge and very good. The pizza was good but salty. We were too full for dessert. Our server was busy so it took a while to get our check.

Everything about this place was good but the food, I got a pizza that was dry and flavorless, and slightly burnt, it was also 15 dollars for a 12 inch pizza and I ended up paying $30 total because they charge $3.50 for fountain drinks and they force a 20% party gratuity. The staffing was incredible though, as was the cleanliness.

I ordered a cheese pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese. Pizza came out with barely enough cheese to cover half the bread and so little sauce I couldn't even taste it. I told the server and she got an attitude and brought out another pizza looking the same way. There are better places in Waynesville to get a good pizza without dealing with paying extra for something you don't receive and a server with bad attitude.

I have only been for lunch and had the Calzone, and it was amazing. Excellent staff and very clean.
