Atmosphere, food and service were great. Hostess was "bothered" that was the one low point. Try the fried pickles they are delish. John was an attentive server and our bar drinks were great. Worth the visit for sure.

I meet with friends this lovely spot a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I visit this place routinely. The cooking is excellent, the team is polite and the prices are decent. I like eating in this place to have a rich dinner.

Chicken n Dumpling soup was God awful. My hamburger very tasty. Staff very nice.Would try again.

Food was good, drinks we're very good. My one recommendation would be to dim the lights in the evening. It was a little too bright.

When I go to Waynesville, one of my favorite dining spots is Bourbon Barrel. I have eaten in there many times for dinner and not had a bad meal yet and it is not overpriced!

Extremely phenominal dining!! If I could rate it at a twelve I would give it a fifty five!! The absolute BEST Ribeye I have ever eaten! The horseradish new potatoes where to die for! We also had the filet mignon, and the salmon, Brussels, and a bacon mushroom penne , good local brews, and top notch gin and tonic!! Good good good house salad witb a honey vinaigrette! A MUST experience!! You will be more than satisfied!!

Amazing food and wonderful personable staff!

It was Valentines and we did NOT have reservation. Everything we planned for the day turned out completely opposite. However, we were happy to accept seats at the bar and to our delight had Amazing meals. Bartender was a delight, she held that perfect balance of presence, conversation and distance. All in all s great experience.

Excellent dinner. Handled the Valentine's Day crowd seamlessly. We enjoyed our experience and dinner. Love this place! Worked us in without reservations. We appreciate you.

Friday night. Ordered the filet, cooked perfectly... melted like butter. Best filet I have had at this restaurant yet- friends has the prime rib special and again, outstanding. This place just keeps getting better with every visit to this town. Keep it up!

We had the filet with green beans and the best mac-n-cheese. The filet is always good and the mac has smoked mushrooms and bacon in it and is really good. The Ceasar salad is wonderful.

Great local pub with fresh made meals like shrimp and local ground grits and meat loaf. Nice bar to go in alone for a meal on Friday night. Good wine selection by the glass. Great service and the owner seems to always be around, she's checking in constantly with her guests and working the bar.

Good meal, reservation not ready but it worked out fine in minutes. Probably a mistake. First time in a long time I have seen staff take time to stabilize a table to prevent wobble. Nice touch.
