Decided to check this place out because it is so busy. I ordered beef tips and did not like them. They just tasted off to me. Told my server I wasn't going to eat them but I would eat my potato and salad. I didn't want a replacement because honestly the tips kind of turned me off of wanting any meat. She was very sweet but came back and said she took my drink off but there was nothing else she could do because there was nothing wrong with them. So I went to the register to pay the lady at the register asked if everything was ok I told her not really I took only one bite of my tips and did not like them. She said oh did you talk to your server I said yes, she said you didn't want a replacement I said no. She said ok well the total is and charged me for the full meal. I would not have minded paying for what I did eat but it's crazy to me that they were willing to charge me full price when I did not even like or eat the main course. That is horrible customer service. I have been in food service my whole life and bare minimum would be to take off the price of the tips. This is a definite not going back for me. I am local and eat out quite often so that's a loss.

This place is a total find. We found it driving up to our home in TN and stopped in. Absolutely amazing place. The onion rings are the best and the cheese burger was legit. We’ve been back twice and purposely go through Waynesville so we can stop here. People are friendly and the bathrooms are always clean.
Absolutely LOVE the sweet tea, house salad, flounder, baked potato and shrimp. Waitress was so very sweet as can be. HIGHLY recommend this lip smacking restaurant to all living in and visiting Haywood county!!! 😋😋😋

Longtime customer. Not sure what happened but food was almost inedible Sunday night 8/17. Almost every table complained about cold food. The country style steak was too tough to cut , okra was old and cold, instant mashed potatoes so cold they seemed refrigerated. Whatever that liquid that was supposed to be gravy was disgusting Don't expect this at 7 pm. Hope this was an isolated event.
