We fell in love with their hand pies, danishes, and chocolate chip & peanut butter cookies! The staff was very helpful in answering questions about which pastries and sweets used butter so we could avoid seed oils. Cannot wait to go back!!

Fair prices, kind employees, and top notch treats! I would highly recommend the chicken pot pie. They have tons of options for GF folks, too.

Note- I took 1 star off for atmosphere because they have no Wi-Fi. This would be the perfect place to do a little studying if they did!

(Response to Owner) Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review! I will definitely be back- my Dad is gluten free and I am looking forward to bringing him so he can try some of your tasty options. I think it's great that you are hoping to transition the space to accommodate those who want to stick around inside for a while. It would definitely become my favorite study spot in town :)

My husband and I have ordered from Farm to Cake many times- between the two of us, over 10 cakes for birthdays and events. We have been happy to pay more for their cakes, because we are happy to support a local business- we even went as far as to still pick up a cake we had ordered the day after Hurricane Helene, because we knew they were probably going to be lacking for business for awhile. Unfortunately, we have noticed that management and customer service has gone extremely downhill. The manager has been snappy, aggressive, and pushy the last few times we have called to order- but we continued to support them. A few weeks ago, I ordered a smash cake for my son's first birthday- as well as 24 cupcakes for guests. I asked if the cake could be smaller than their smallest since he will be the only one eating it- they said yes, but still the same price as the bigger size. Again- I said okay to their ridiculous attitude. The total for the order was supposed to be $94. A few days ago, I realized I needed 12 more cupcakes. When I ordered, I received a bill for $84. I said thank you, but Nevermind adding them because this is just too expensive for 12 additional cupcakes. I then receive an email with a link to pay an additional $39 for my original order, as THE BUSINESS had invoiced me for only 13 cupcakes on the original invoice, and they were expecting me to pay the additional $39 even though it was their error. I called the store to explain that I order from them all the time, and I would really appreciate the manager owning their mistake and keeping the price $94- as that already felt expensive for a tiny cake and 24 cupcakes- plain cupcakes with no design. As usual she was extremely rude, aggressive, and did not care that we have ordered from them for years. She refused to honor their mistake- so now the whole order is canceled. They do not care about loyal customers- we will never order from them again.

Best bakery in town. This is hands down one of the best bakeries I've ever visited and I've been to several. Everything is delicious. Make sure to get in when they open because they do sell out. My favorites are the Tarts, cream puff and Danishs. You will not be disappointed.

The most beautiful and delicious chocolate cake I've ever had! I wish I would be gotten a picture but I didn't. Thank you all for the wonderful cake!

✨Five star everything ✨ Found this gem during our yearly post-Thanksgiving trip to the NC mountains and once we did, we went back every-single-day until we left. We’d gladly drive up from Florida monthly to restock 😋 Absolute best cream and pastry we’ve had anywhere. Everything made in-house - you can taste the love. Oh, and they have gluten-free and nut- free options too!!
💯Must have’s: Honey Bourbon Pecan anything, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Eclair, Lemon Curd hand pie, Chicken Pot Pie hand pie, Saturday Morning bread pudding… I could go on & on!! (We could’ve taken more photos but were too busy enjoying each delicious treat 🤤)
Stop by - you will not regret it.

The best pastries I’ve had in Haywood county! They are perfectly flavored, not overly sweet, the dough for all their different creations are spot on. Nothing is soggy - their handpies all do the ingredients justice such as the blueberry one tasting like ripe and delicious blueberries. Nothing is drown in sugar, the flavors are meticulously balanced and we are going to make this our weekly stop! My favorites are the eclairs, chocolate mousse stuffed cream puffs (honorable mention to the strawberry one) the pumpkin pie (the crust omg so good) and the mixed berry handpie. The pumpkin handpie is also scrumptious. My dad loves all the cookies but especially the peanut butter one. They do have loads of GF options as well! I’ve tried the GF blueberry pie bar. Would definitely get it again. As far as savory items they have a chicken pot pie handpie that my dad is obsessed with.
They sell out quickly so make sure you get there before noon if you want to marvel at the full display!

Dietary restrictions: None personally but they have loads of Gf and vegetarian option.

Parking: Park behind the store.
