Oh my goodness! What a fantastic place to eat. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had...the pimiento cheese sandwich has the creamiest cheese ever...I could eat there every day and never tire of it...Oh and the lemon bars...the chocolate mint brownies...homemade cinnamon rolls...and more.. scrumptious...
the staff was so friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting...can you tell I'm super impressed! I can hardly wait to go again!

I had the privilege of eating at this gem today! The vibe in this restaurant is vibing! The place was clean and organized! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like family! I got the sprouts and Diego Pork Tacos (HIGHLY RECOMMEND)! Our food was fresh and vibrant! Once you're done stuffing your face with your main course mosey on up to the front! The selection of desserts are mouthwatering! This is by far my new favorite place! I may live over an hour away but I'll keep driving, it's really that good!!

I've been coming here for three years and always enjoy my meal. Sometimes, it's a Cobb salad or the Folkmoot. Sometimes, it's their daily special. Sometimes, just a Lemon Bar (or 3).

It's almost impossible to find restaurants that actually make REAL food from fresh ingredients; Kanini's stands out in this way. You can tell they actually enjoy cooking - it just shows up in everything they offer.

NOTE: my picture would have been prettier if it was the Cobb salad before I gobbled it down...sometimes an empty plate is the best compliment! 😂

Monday lunch: I had the Blue Ridge Cobb salad-very nice salad! I substituted the Caesar dressing which I enjoyed very much! The sweet potato biscuit was very tasty! My husband had the Acme burger (no lettuce and extra mayo)-he enjoyed it. The sidewinder fries were very potatoey! The sweet tea was weak. You order at the counter and a server brings your order to your table. The portions were big-we brought leftovers home.

Delicious food in a casual environment. Everything I had was delicious. Our group of 5 was served quickly. I looked at each plate and found I would likely eat anything that was ordered. Great local options with Soda Jerks. Sweet and unsweetened tea, water, etc. I left full and happy.
