The Buttered Biscuit

Amazing spot for breakfast. Staff is very proud to provide incredible service and dishes. Personally have never seen a biscuit that big, and good. Lunch also great.

Very clean good food and good service

This was an impulse stop, with no research beyond a quick online perusal of the menu. This place completely exceeded every expectation I had walking in. If you go for breakfast you should expect a wait, because all the locals know this is the place to go. Our waitress, Ashley, did a superb job of taking care of our table.

The buttered biscuit is a meal all by itself. I had no clue it was of this size, but I couldn’t stop eating it once I started. The other breakfast items there are as good as the biscuit. If ever you’re passing through Waynesville I highly recommend this place.

Good food friendly service

We have long been fans of Buttered Biscuit in AR and have been to Little Rock location 6-8 times. There seems to be always be seating confusion. Today we put ourselves on waiting list while driving there. There was ONE party ahead of us. But… EIGHT PARTIES WERE SEATED AHEAD OF US. Not so much a fan these days.

This place is SO good. The portions are enough so that you have leftovers, the prices are spot on with your getting what you pay for too. We drive from west Asheville to go here!

Food was great. The service was wonderful. Love the news is on. Just not a local spot quite yet. The biscuit is enormous.

Get the shortcake biscuit

Awful experience. Waited 30 minutes to be seated, waitress brought out food for us and then left our table for 30 minutes, there was a fly or spider in my gravy on my country fried steak and the staff didn’t seem to care. No one at our table of four could eat their food anymore because of the bug and they only gave us a small discount. Won’t be back.

I made a u-turn on the highway after seeing this place. There’s no way I could pass up a chance to visit a local breakfast place with such a great name. And I wasn’t even remotely disappointed! Huge, delicious biscuits and supersized, over stuffed omelettes. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this wonderful place.

OMG!!! This place was awesome. The food was so good and there was so much of it. The biscuits are huge! As well as the omelets, pancakes, etc. This an over the top amazing breakfast place!

Parking: There is some parking in front and on the sides. But also in the little lot next door. During rush times the spaces are full. And DO NOT park in the Queen B's spot (its marked). Just saying. :-)

Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family joint.
