We have long been fans of Buttered Biscuit in AR and have been to Little Rock location 6-8 times. There seems to be always be seating confusion. Today we put ourselves on waiting list while driving there. There was ONE party ahead of us. But… EIGHT PARTIES WERE SEATED AHEAD OF US. Not so much a fan these days.

This place is SO good. The portions are enough so that you have leftovers, the prices are spot on with your getting what you pay for too. We drive from west Asheville to go here!

Food was great. The service was wonderful. Love the news is on. Just not a local spot quite yet. The biscuit is enormous.

The best home cooked breakfast. Biggest biscuits and omletts anywhere. Enough for two meals!

Awful experience. Waited 30 minutes to be seated, waitress brought out food for us and then left our table for 30 minutes, there was a fly or spider in my gravy on my country fried steak and the staff didn’t seem to care. No one at our table of four could eat their food anymore because of the bug and they only gave us a small discount. Won’t be back.

I made a u-turn on the highway after seeing this place. There’s no way I could pass up a chance to visit a local breakfast place with such a great name. And I wasn’t even remotely disappointed! Huge, delicious biscuits and supersized, over stuffed omelettes. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this wonderful place.

OMG!!! This place was awesome. The food was so good and there was so much of it. The biscuits are huge! As well as the omelets, pancakes, etc. This an over the top amazing breakfast place!

Parking: There is some parking in front and on the sides. But also in the little lot next door. During rush times the spaces are full. And DO NOT park in the Queen B's spot (its marked). Just saying. :-)

Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family joint.

Excellent local hole in the wall kind of place! Has been a consistent 30 minute wait every time I have been. I will say it’s worth the wait, the food is great! Update: after trying several things on multiple different trips: family members all agree breakfast foods are great, lunch items not so much. I definitely recommend getting anything breakfast - I have sampled several items from the breakfast menu and most things I have liked. Warning: their biscuits and pancakes are seriously seriously massive, no joking.

I had high hopes for this highly rated breakfast and lunch restaurant, conveniently located near Lake Junaluska and Maggie Valley. Finally got around to try it, and was pleasantly surprised that most patrons seemed to be locals. This is generally a good sign. We waited outside for about 30 minutes at peak time of a Saturday. Once seated, the staff were friendly, but a bit slow & overwhelmed. Being a breakfast lover, I ordered the “City Slicker” special with strawberry French toast, scrambled eggs & sausage. The sausage was dense & required cutting with a knife. The eggs were good. The French toast would have been good if the strawberries weren’t the frozen kind that were thawed, limp, watery & tasteless. The coffee had a strange, stale taste to it & I had to choke it down to get my morning fix. One family member had the burger with onion rings. It was so greasy he could not get very far. Another had the cheese steak. The hoagie was stiff & crunchy and the meat was bland. About the best thing we could say about the meal was that the cold drinks had nugget ice. As we were leaving, I stopped by the restroom & to my amusement, there were two commodes in the women’s single stall restroom. For a restaurant with such high reviews, I truly expected better food.
