The Swag was an all-timer. My wife and I traveled from the Midwest - from the moment we traveled up the 2.5 mile winding driveway, until we left 2 days later, everything was outstanding. The amenities in our room were 5 star, the food was magnificent and the staff was welcoming and kind. Sandra and Benji in the dining room made us feel at home, and resident hosts Doug and Kathy were amazing. The access to the national park and all the little things (swag bars for dessert!) were so well thought out by the staff.
We will be back.

Edit July 23rd, 2025: I have now gone 3 years in a row and the staff is superb. They remember your name and who you are. They even did a cocktail class and let me make some of my own drinks along with the other people I came with!
The views were great again this year and the food was excellent. A great few day getaway - every time!

I tend to have high expectations—often only to be disappointed. But The Swag DID NOT disappoint. In fact, it exceeded every expectation I had.
From the moment we pulled into the Welcome Center, we knew we were in for something special. The property is absolutely stunning, with attention to detail that’s second to none. The accommodations are luxurious, the amenities are abundant, and the food is both plentiful and divine.
And while everything about The Swag is truly top-notch, the staff and owners may be the most remarkable part. Their passion for what they do is evident in every interaction, and being surrounded by people who genuinely love where they work added something truly unforgettable to our experience.

There are certain places on this planet you must see.....hidden gems that are not easy to get to but once you arrive, you know its a unique environment. We just had dinner last night and we can honestly say that we have never experienced a more gracious waitstaff and management team. Every thing was top notch. Views to die for with amazing farm to table food. When the chef talks to you for 15 minutes after the meal you know its not your run of the mill location. Thanks to Hannah for getting us in an being an amazing host.
