I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. It was on my list of places to go after surfing yelp. I had the filly cheese steak with fries. It was a good meal. The sandwich was generous and hot. Service was good. The place must be popular as it was full. I will come again and try something else. Maybe the patty melt or Cuban is next.

I work in a restaurant and so to come somewhere for the first time to not be made to feel welcome didn't feel good. The waitress didn't check on us and one of our meals wasn't good we couldn't eat it I had to go ask for help because no one was around I told them we couldn't eat it and they did nothing payed 30 for two meals and wasn't happy

Can't believe we've lived here for almost 2 years without checking thos place out. Cooked to order, fresh. I had smothered chicken breast, wife had Greek Salad. We'd order both again. Will be back, soon!

Everything was excellent, hot, and home cooked. The salad was delicious and the fries as well. My husband devoured his chicken fried chicken in about five minutes. We will be back whenever we are in the area

The good- I was greeted by a young man who was probably the child of one of the owners or workers a little young to be working in the restaurant otherwise. He was very courteous and even tried to find out the ingredients in the Greek omelette for me. Even though he didn't know the answer he sought it out and let me know. A fine young man with the proper work ethic such a relief! My waitress was also friendly and kept my coffee filled and made sure I had what I needed. The bad- the food was average. I got the Philly steak omelette it was not bad it was not great. It was nothing I would go out of my way to come back for. It did not make that great of an impression on me. I would eat it again just not my top pick for omelette destination it was a little bland and had very little cheese in it. I would order extra cheese and add salt and pepper to it. I did add hot sauce which did help. The ugly- the location and the atmosphere make it a place I've driven past many a times and never really noticed it. Inside I didn't get the sense there was any character to the place much like my omelette it was kind of bland.Overall- there were a lot of people there so they have a following it maybe I picked the wrong plate on the wrong day. I will return simply for the service I felt at ease and felt like the staff really appreciated my business. I look forward to trying a different dish and maybe I can update my rating to a 5 star rating.

Unfortunately when I last ate there, the food was pretty bad. Everything felt like it came from and can or out of a box. No heart at all in the food. Long are the days that I wished we still had Poppy's. My brother ate there recently and let me know it hasn't changed. Still canned or boxed food and lacking any of the homemade feel.
