This is one of our favorite restaurants and we will return! The garlic rolls are superb. On our last visit we ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella salad as appetizer which was fresh and refreshing. For main entrees we had the Parmesan Crusted Trout and the special Pork Cheeks Pasta. The trout dish was delicious and the ingredients complemented each other; highly recommend this dish! The pork cheeks pasta was ok, but not spectacular..it lacked flavor and was a bit watered down. Atmosphere is always great at this restaurant!

We had a nice meal at Glass Onion Tavern. My favorite salad is arugula with either apple or watermelon. Two of us had the baked chicken with seasonal vegetables which was way TOO SALTY. The other two diners had salmon and wild boar ragu which seemed fine. The wait staff was wonderful.

Wonderful local restaurant that offers delicious meals. New owners have maintained the best of the previous owners while adding interesting dinners. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere and staff.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate or Anniversary! If wasn't a relaxing evening at all! Very disappointed that it took an hour to get our food. Many others who ordered after us, received their food first. They kept saying it should just be a few minutes. So surprised they only gave us one free dessert. Should have taken off the appetizer or the 2 drinks. The kitchen needs to prioritize the tickets!

Very enjoyable meals . I appreciate that there was food that I as a person watching my weight could eat. The salmon was amazing and the blueberry sherbet was a great ending to a wonderful meal! Everything was just lovely and I look forward to returning when I return in two months!

Probably top 5 best meals I've ever had. We had the burrata bruschetta as an app, the ribeye with fingerling potatoes and green beans and the cannelloni. Everything was DELICIOUS and perfectly seasoned. Service was excellent. We said we'd go back to Weaverville just to go there!

We went to the Glass Onion to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our server Joy, was wonderful, making this a memorable experience. We enjoyed the perfect martini and delicious garlic rolls. The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly. The Arugula Prosciutto salad was yummy. The deserts-crème brûlée and ricotta cake were a perfect end to a perfect meal. Thank you.

The food at Glass Onion is consistently good; everything we've ever had has been delicious. The tables are a bit close together so private conversation could be an issue. Our server was competent but not overly friendly. All in all, a good experience and I would recommend it.

Glass Onion is a great local restaurant. It is small and noisy but comfortable and welcoming. Wait staff is super friendly and attentive. We had the cavatappi with shrimp and it was somewhat disappointing. The dish was quite watery/oily and not very flavorful. Our tiramisu was fine but there was too much whipped cream. The Arancini and garlic rolls were terrific!!

I don't think even KFC uses that much oil/grease in their cooking..... The rolls they brought out to begin with were SATURATED in oil; they were literally dripping with oil and the saucer they sat in was a pool of oil. There was no flavor with the oil being so overpowering. The pesto cavatappi pasta dish was drenched in oil as well. The bottom of the bowl was just a large pool of pesto/oil. The parmesan trout dish was fried in so much oil, I couldn't taste anything but oil. For the prices of the dishes, we were horribly disappointed.

Have gone there for years for special occasions, just didn't feel the same. The steak offering was not the usual ribeye and the sauce didn't make up for a tasteless top sirloin.

We have been going to the Glass onion for years and I've always loved it but last night‘s dinner was probably the best meal I have ever had there. We had a little claws as the appetizer and then we got the gnocchi with the duck sausage and it was just off the chain so fabulous kudos to you guys. You really know how to do it.

Very enjoyable meal. Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding. Coconut cake is best we've ever had!

Locals from Fairview and our first time at the glass onion. Met some wonderful cousins from out of town. Started with the pear and beet salad, which was delicious. Then of course we had to share an order of the wonderful fries. I had the trout and substituted kale for the side dishes. They also made a gluten-free for me. My husband had a ribeye which he says was one of the best he's ever had. My cousins had the ravioli in the same and they loved it. The place is small and loud and I think we might've been the loudest of all. Interesting artwork on the walls and a real fast pace place. Will definitely be back.

Lively crowd, lovely ambiance. Food very good. Always a nice experience! They need to do something about the garish harsh white lights over the bar, however. Kinda spoils the mood. Other than that it's a great restaurant!
