Ate there today. Husband has been experiencing vomiting and diarrhea - had I known of their history - we would not have gone there. Lesson learned.

This place was very busy, Sunday morning, there was a wait to get seated, overall the service and food were good. I would like to try the dinner specials at some point, they appeared reasonably priced and they offer a menu ce variety.

Tommys is one of those places owned by locals, visited by locals. Cooking by the owner. Great wait staff. Meat and three sides served in separate small bowls. Choose the 3 you want from the list of 12. Always a doggie bag. Rib eye and prime rib (usually) cooked just right and the size of the dinner plate. $22. Less than buying just the raw meat. And good! Always 1 or 2 meals of leftover. Eat with the locals in this little old fashion boothed place. Greek and italian. Good spanakopita. Great Baklava.

This place is a must stop if you’re passing through Weaverville.
Grade A breakfast. The place is busy for a reason. Be sure to get one of breakfast sandwiches. Solid pick there. 👏 👀 🍳
Southern style restaurant with a waitress hierarchy. Did not have biscuits at 9am. Asked for hasbrowns and got boiled potatoes pressed in a hotplate... Only would recommend for southern bells.

Waitstaff and all were very prompt, courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. Great atmosphere and very clean and presentable. To me, food was just average. Whitefish and catfish were pretty good but the popcorn shrimp was just so-so - normal. Green beans were a little different than I’m used to with peppers and things in them that I didn’t necessarily prefer. Mashed potatoes and gravy along with Mac and cheese were ok.
