I am visiting from out of town. I am so pleased that I happened upon Well-Bred. I had the chicken salad on a croissant my first visit and returned for a cappuccino and flourless torte the next day.
Both visits I was assisted by a super helpful and genuine employee named River. I had a few questions about the Asheville area which River answered with an authentic smile, and a few quick recommendations to take my trip to the next level. I will definitely return!!
It’s fine. I was brought here by my grandma the two times she visited and I’m not a pastry or sweets person so I didn’t enjoy anything but my grandma can’t get enough and this place always seems to be busy.

Cutie little spot we stopped in for coffee and breakfast on the go. The cases of pastries and cakes looks so good! I was very impressed with my breakfast burrito and the coffee was very good. I should have grabbed a cookie for the road!

One of my favorite dessert places! Cookies are great and I always get the espresso cake. My all of the sandwiches and sides are delicious. It can get very busy but the line always moves quickly.
