What a great setting and the whiskey is pretty decent as well.

We stopped in because of the great reviews and were not disappointed. We did a tasting with Paul, who was awesome! Had a great cocktail and walked out with a few unique bottles of whiskey. We'll definitely stop in again.

OMG, this is hands down some of the best Bourbon I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I was on a road trip, saw their sign and decided to take a chance. Let me tell you, that chance paid off!! I'm a big Woodford fan and this Bourbon beats it hands down. I live in Brooklyn, wish I were closer but that might end up in me visiting a little more than I should. There is always shipping. Absolutely delicious & very well crafted.

Forget Kentucky, the best bourbon is at Weldon Mills Distillery. Veteran owned and veteran proud, Weldon Mills outs quality first into their products and it is shown during the tour and tastings. Don’t miss out on the tour if you can as you will come to appreciate their roots and what they are about (special shout out to Tim for being an exceptional tour guide/host). History, quality, a care for the environment, comradery, honor/respect, and so much more is built into Weldon Mills Distillery. It is a must stop if you are traveling to/through the area. I know I’ll be back.

Weldon Mills Diatillery is an excellent place to stop for a custom cocktail. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The tour of the Distillery we were given by Paul was the most comprehensive and informative Distillery tour we have ever gotten and we have done many. 5/5 stars. You can tell everyone involved is very passionate about what they do and it makes the whole experience very enjoyable.

Wineries are our usual go-to, but we thought we'd expand our horizons. So glad we did! Tim, our tour guide, was awesome and the guys in the bar and store were, too. We learned so much about distilleries and how they differ from breweries and wineries. The biggest difference is that we were not made to feel uncomfortable for not knowing anything about the alcohol, like you sometimes get treated at a winery. Tim seemed to enjoy that we knew nothing and challenged himself to teach us as much as he could. We got to taste some amazing bourbon, whiskey, and gin. Try the Soldiers Cut - our favorite came home in a bottle!

The dedication this company has to their fallen brothers, their family, and the community is touching and I hope the community helps to build them up as well.

Gosh dangit!!! Now there's a reason why this place has a 4.9 star reviews! Now listen up!! I been all over this country, consider myself a bourbon snob. I feel like I know good bourbon. The soldiers cut is a few proof weaker but so damn smooth. And the snorting bull is smooth as silk and a little more oaky...but damn good. The atmosphere will knock your damn socks off. The service memorial right when you walk in brought tears to my eyes. The bar in the back is cozy. Great marketting here guys. You knocked this one out of the park. The crew working here were top notch. I will definitely co.e back. See yall soon.

Excellent experience overall, great knowledge and expertise from Tim and Kaci.

Tim took us on a tour of the brewery that started in a old-school trolley bus, demonstrated the range and use of the facility (with great tidbits of knowledge that are very interactive) and ended with some wonderful tastings. Only $5 gets you the tour and a flight to try some of their wonderful options. There is also a great bar with fantastic craft cocktails. I recommend the Manhattan 😀

The distillery itself is right next to the Roanoke Rapids and allows you a chance to picnic, hike and take in some wonderful nature.

If you are in Roanoke Rapids, stop in and experience the aromas, the ambiance and the warm natured staff. Say hi to Tim and Kaci for us!!
