“My Wife and I were vacationing in Littleton, NC on Lake Gaston, we were looking for Brunch/Lunch spot on Saturday, we drove 25 miles into Weldon, NC and found Cafe Weldon...What a Gem! The Folks that own and run it are a genuine family! They also treated us a family, as they shared their Story! The Food is absolutely delicious! My Wife had the Croissant with sausage egg and cheese, she said the Croissant was a very buttery delicious Croissant, the best she had ever had! I had, for the first time ever, the Waffle & Chicken, along with a fried egg, cooked just right, and the waffle and chicken were fantastic! We reccomended Cafe Weldon for breakfast, brunch or lunch!
We will always eat here when in the area! Enjoy The Chess Events, and other community events offered!”

“We had our class reunion at 51 Sycamore on September 23, the day that tropical storm Ophelia visited. Due to the conditions we weren't able to use the patio at the beginning of the event. Mr. Bennett, Victoria, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The staff was courteous, the food was excellent, and once the weather improved they worked quickly to make the patio area available for us to use. They treated us like family. Thank you so much. You helped make our event a huge success. I will recommend 51 Sycamore to anyone who needs a nice, high class venue for their events.”

“We celebrated my in-law's 67th wedding anniversary tonight at Haggerty's. The service was excellent and the owner went above and beyond to ensure my father-in-law had a wonderful meal and memory! I should have asked for the lunch special , cause that's just how small it was. So if you have a normal appetite, don't order it if you're expecting some food for later. It was good, just not worth the cost for them to put everything in that little black container.”

“While the building is nothing to write home about the food was incredible. We ordered 1 small and one medium pizza for 3 adults and 1 child. The “small” was huge and the “medium” was closer to a large. It was packed with toppings and well priced.
It is sad to see small towns dying but this is definitely worth stopping.”

“3-16-26, I see a lot of 50/50 reviews, and taste and food opinions are subjective, but here is my review based on my experience.

The place is take out only. The store is very small on the inside. The atmosphere is calm and collective. The woman behind the counter was very nice but did not speak much English, obviously. I purchased a Large Orange Chicken, and 2 egg rolls for $15.68. It did come with white rice. The orange chicken is pretty decent. The orange flavor is not as pronounced as many places are, but it is still a pretty good meal. The orange Chicken will get a 7-10 from me. The egg rolls I got were $1.70 each. Egg rolls have good flavor and properly made. The egg rolls will get a 10-10 with no complaints from me. Everything was fresh when I received it, as I was the only person inside the store at the time. I went in at 12:04pm, and received my food at or around 12:15pm.

Overall score for this stop in Chinese spot is going to be a 7-10. Decent prices, good food, and a nice atmosphere.”

“Let me tell you something! We are from Maryland and ended up at this amazing restaurant for dinner. The hospitality, atmosphere and food were all extremely wonderful. The food actually had flavor, it was nice and hot and the homemade chocolate pie is to die for! If this place was at home they wouldn't be able to keep up!

“I placed 2 separate orders in the app. It was delivered on time and the food was nice and hot... but I was charged 2 times for the first order. Has this happened to anyone else? When I noticed it and called to Sonic, I as told that the app has been messing up lately and it would automatically refund my money. Really?! I'll be patient and see.”
