Food is fresh and delicious with prompt friendly service. Was clean when visiting on a Friday night which everyone knows is prime time so easy to get behind. Will visit again.

They are currently short staffed so you have to order at the counter and then seat yourself (no big deal). The chips were burnt, the salsa tasted like straight cumin, and the taco salad was flavorless. I haven’t been here in over a year but prior to that I have eaten here many times and it has never been this bad.

Awful Mexican food. The chips & salsa were the only thing that was actually good & edible. Steak had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Bean burrito was horrible. Most of the food was thrown away bc it was that bad.

The most expensive, low quality Mexican food I've ever had. Stale chips, gristle meat, food tasted microwaved and zero flavor. $8 for a tiny dipping bowl of cheese dip. Seriously ridiculous. Won't be back. I can do better at home.

Very generic tex-mex style Mexican food. Everything is a bit bland and greasy. After eating at Gonza Tacos y Tequila in Raleigh & Wake Forest for the past 10 years, eating at Agave was very disappointing. I wish they had more authentic recipes like a delicious mole enchiladas (real molé, not red canned sauce).

I don't want to sound picky but, how would you take it if you're looking at a menu that is attached to the wall and someone wants to tell you to have a seat when they clearly see what you're doing. I don't know if I was detecting a little attitude because this lady was older but people be careful what you say and who you say it to. The food was okay.

Good place to enjoy with loved ones, friends and dates. Great atmosphere.Plenty of parking. It's located in downtown Wendell. I ordered the fajita taco salad with chicken, it didn't have much chicken maybe 4 small pieces. However, the food was good.

I have lived in the Wendell area for over 2 years now and visited many Mexican restaurants in that time. This is the first one I visited and it is still my favorite to this day. The woman that works the counter is so kind and the service staff is friendly and helpful. I always get the veggie or shrimp fajita with a frozen margarita so I can't speak on the other food items but I throughly enjoy what I do get (can't ya tell?) They are not primarily table-serviced due to smaller staffing but they are sure to keep the drinks and chips/salsa coming. Stop by to enjoy the vibes and friendly neighbors!Vegetarian options: I love the veggie fajitasParking: Ample parking behind the restaurant and across the street
