My daughter and I visited during lunch and there was a crowd! The line was out the door but it was well worth a little bit of a wait. The food was hot and delicious and we will definitely be returning.
When it comes to simple foods.. Country breakfast, burgers and dogs, Aubrey's and peedies had been a Wendell staple for years... But get there early because they close at 2pm and they only take cash, no cards. But it's well worth those 2 setbacks. My dad took me there many times as a kid, now I get to take my kids there, and hopefully they get to take theirs one day too.
Places like this remind me of being a kid and getting breakfast with the family. Excellent service with a smile. Great atmosphere. I hope this place never changes. Will definitely be coming back!
