Creative Cone is the perfect small town ice cream place! My personal favorite is their soft serve custard, it's so creamy and delicious! The rest of the family each got different flavored scoops and all loved their choices. I highly recommend Creative Cone!

The last 3 weeks you have been out of soft serve one night or another, again tonight you have no custard to serve. This is poor business. The other people in there tonight with me were also disappointed in your lack of flavors available. You need to offer everything you advertise most of the time, not 1/3 of the time.

Makayla was so very nice the time i walked in she had a big smile on her face, she answered all the questions i had about all the types of ice cream and she was working very hard with making the waffle cones and giving very good customer service at the same time.

The ice cream is excellent and it’s a really cute welcoming shop located right in the downtown area. I removed a star due to the customer service. When we entered there were 3 girls there and they didn’t even greet us- no hello upon entry. They were quite unfriendly and honestly it was a bit awkward. They seemed unhappy?

Only 1 employee working on this Saturday night. She was very friendly and devoted her attention to the customer(s) she was serving even though the line was at least 15 people deep the entire time we were inside waiting to order, ordering and eating. Some customers left before ordering. Owners must do better for their employee and customers. The food was still as delicious as it always is.
Just discovered this place and so happy I did. It’s awesome!!! Customer service was absolutely great and the owner wanted us to try all the flavors (which is a nice breath of fresh air!). Their flavors are very creative and tbh they are all excellent. Even the flavors that I don’t like I liked here! So many options and ideas. Really glad I found this place and I will most certainly be back here. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Flavors were great and I was Super excited to see a dairy free option that actually tasted good. However I am new to dairy free and got a milkshake, the employee didn’t mention it having milk (totally my fault), and I didn’t think to ask.
I think adding a milk alternative for milkshakes would be a good idea.
I did 3 stars because my husband also got a milkshake and both shakes had way too much milk, making it too much like actually drinking milk vs a summer treat.

REVISION: A few days ago we had a not so great experience. I left a review with the details and the owners took action. They commented on my review and reached out via social media to get an understanding of the situation, and invited us back to the store to discuss what happened in person.
You can tell these owners deeply care for their business. They will make sure every customer has an excellent experience. Today, we went in and got our ice cream. I got the lemon blueberry swirl in their homemade waffle cone, and my partner got one of their creative cones. They were excellent! We are really excited to have this shop so close to where we live, and now knowing how much the owners care for their business makes it all the better.
Thanks again Bob and Nellie, we will be back!

What a great place to visit downtown Wendell! I got a top dipped cone with the bourbon espresso flavor and it was amazing. They also give you hefty portions! Friendly staff, tasty and creative selections and a good looking store. A must visit!
