First time here. Staff was super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable of their food and coffee offerings. The pecan pie cream cheese ate like a dessert on a stellar everything bagel. Most importantly IMO - the coffee was ideal. I had a single origin pour over and a drip coffee as I headed out. I will absolutely be going out of my way to visit again when I come through Raleigh.

Parallax Coffee is an absolute gem in downtown Wendell. The seasonal menus are always thoughtful and creative, and the matcha tea is a standout every single time. 🍵✨
It’s right around the corner from our office, which makes it our go-to spot for a quick pick-me-up or a reset between busy days. Great coffee, great vibes, and the kind of energy that actually carries you through the day.

We came from Raleigh to visit this coffee shop. I had seen videos on social media and decided to give it a try. It’s definitely one of the better coffee shops that we’ve visited in Wake County. It is a nice open space that is very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The coffee was excellent. I had a brown sugar latte. The coffee had a great flavor and the syrup wasn’t overly sweet. I would definitely return.

What a gem of a place! Upon entering this morning both associates were so kind, friendly and welcoming. The interior is absolutely beautiful and the iced latte was one of the best I’ve ever had! If you have the chance, please stop in and support this local business!

Great place to visit for a coffee, pastry or a break. We made a 45 minute drive to visit Parallax just to try it out and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Coffee was great, the service was great and the hostesses very exceptional. We didn't try them but the pastries looked very good was well. The atmosphere is kind of laid back Crate and Barrel. A great place to get together with a few friends.

We wanted to like this place, but there was a thin layer of filth and grime on nearly every surface we encountered. Having been in food service, I know that the collection of oils on the table was not built in a day.
This was made more frustrating by the baristas talking louder than anyone in the building. Not to come off as a boomer but if you have time to lean you have time to clean.
EDIT: Just read the review response where it is implied that I am ableist for wanting a clean coffee shop. LOL
