This is a hard review to write because I do like this place. The problem is, you either get a REALLY GOOD meal or a REALLY BAD one and there doesn't seem to be an in-between.
I've had meals brought to me that were so overcooked, they were inedible. They also can't cook a steak right to save their life.
My last visit, they were out of the dish I made the trip there specifically for, so I ordered the ribeye. 16oz ribeye sounded pretty good. To my surprise, they brought me out a bone in 16oz ribeye. The bone was the majority of the steak and somehow, they managed to make one side well done and the other side medium at best. I ordered medium rare. I did point this out to the waitress and she brought over someone else so I could point out that the steak was not cooked correctly and its not advertised as a bone in cut. They both acknowledged what I was saying but they didnt do anything about it.
But sometimes they nail it. It seems to depend on what you order and who's working in the back and whether or not they are out of what you want to order.
All in all, if you feel like an adventure, try this place out. It might be amazing or it might be one of the worst meals you've ever had.

Their cheesecake looks delicious on their website so I thought I would get some to go after I got a pedicure and yea- no berry glaze or whip cream. I just got a plain cheesecake. Very disappointed.

This had to be the worst dining experience I've had. The steak was terrible and the Shrimp and grits tasted stale. They brought us another dish that was mediocre at best. I'm am not a complainer nor am I difficult in general but this place needs some serious help in the food department. Our server was the only positive.

Wait time for a sever took over 15-20 minutes at times and food took 45 minutes to come out. Food was good once served but not enjoyable when bringing kids. Server was very friendly, they were just short staffed.

We shared a burger (it was huge!) and our meal was really delicious! I ordered a Peach Mason cocktail that ended up being a little too sweet for my taste. I'll stick to wine next time; they have a good selection.

Nice local restaurant with many different meal choices (small, or medium, or large plates). Nice staff. Not too loud at lunchtime and a nice dining patio for pleasant weather. The staff sort of abandoned us on the coming back to refill drinks side of things, but the meal presentation on the plates was very good.

My fiancé and I had brunch here on a Sunday and we enjoyed our experience! Our table was ready within minutes and we ordered some mimosas to start. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the Parkside burger with cheese and chicken & waffles with mac and cheese. Both our meals were very delicious! the mac and cheese was one of the best I have ever had and my fiancé enjoyed the avocado spread on his burger. The ranch was homemade and the chipotle honey hot sauce topped the meal off. We are looking forward to coming back!

Food was delicious and well prepared. Service was attentive without being invasive. Overall it was a very positive experience.

UPDATE: Mike gave me another outstanding experience tonight, and Todd the manager on duty, is handling it very well considering they are super busy. The other two waitresses and a few people from the kitchen were friendly to me also. Thank you for making me want to come back!
Another excellent restaurant to enjoy a meal in the raleigh area! This was really good food at a great price with a great atmosphere. Maya is an excellent waitress/ food server and she made the meal entertaining and enjoyable. I enjoyed deviled eggs, fried pickle spears, and an incredible steak salad! I didn't see the bathrooms, but the restaurant is extremely clean and organized and the food was outstanding. Several other employees didn't acknowledge me, including the manager, but it's okay, Maya made it a GREAT meal and there's no doubt I will return many times. There is at least 20 other items on the menu that looked delicious to me and I hope you will go to Parkside Restaurant and enjoy a meal. They have a full bar and a huge drink 🍸 list. There's not a lot of parking directly in front of the restaurant, but it seems like there's plenty of parking around. Lots of others stores and buildings with parking nearby.

This place is a gem!!!! Came here Saturday night and sat at a large cozy booth near the bar. They were slammed while I was there, and I was so impressed to see the manager working just as hard, if not harder than the staff. He stopped by to check on everything, and even though he was so busy, still took the time to patiently answer all my husband’s stupid questions. He is very nice, funny, and helpful.
Food and drinks were excellent; great menu options! I had the short rib melt and my husband got the parkside burger. Both were fantastic. Hostess was so friendly, and the girls bartending and waiting tables were all so lovely and had such positive energy. Great experience, can’t wait to come back!!!

It needs to be said, this is the second time we have been here in the last couple weeks but come at least once a month. And this new manager has a real way of making you not feel welcomed. He comes to the table and has a very condescending way about him. I’ve watched him walk around and completely just ruins the vibe of your establishment. The food tonight and last couple times have been terrible, not sure if this place is under new management entirely or what is going on. But we will not be back. Our waitress Stacy though was good not any point off because of her. Ya’ll need to change something as it’s not working.

Just had lunch here. 4 adults, 2 kids. We waited almost an hour for our food, which was good but not anything special. Tip was added to our bill by staff not by our choice.
