Parkside Restaurant (Wendell Falls)

The atmosphere was fine and the staff was "nice", but the service overall left much to be desired.

My girlfriend ordered a club sandwich and requested no tomato. She also asked for the tater tots. What she received was a sandwich not only with tomato, but the juice sopped through the bread. The tater tots also were inferior to the OreIda brand bought in the supermarkets.

My cheeseburger came out lukewarm and the melted cheese was already sweating, which indicated it sat for some time before serving.

To wit, service was slow, the staff did not pay attention to the order, and the food was barely edible.

We will not return to the Parkside.

I had a dip sandwich delivered by DoorDash and Parkside didn’t send the dip! The sandwich wasn’t that good to begin with and without the dip it was inedible. When I called the restaurant they said it was Doordash’s fault for not checking. The bag was sealed. How were they supposed to check it? I’ll never order from here again!

Wanted a nice prime burger. Ordered medium rare it came out well done and the accompanying tator tots were so salty I could not eat them. I sent it back the manager brought me differant tator tot they were much better when the burger came back it was so rare I could not eat it without getting sick. Sent it back and the manager came back and said they would take it off my bill....ummm yeah.....NEVER AGAIN!!!!

When I got my food bartender was playing on phone. Got up and got my own ketchup asked another waitress for auja cause bartender never checked on is. When she finally did me and husband ordered a drink he got his about 10 minutes late my husband asked her for my drink 15 minutes went by nothing! I will never go back absolutely horrible service!

Wings were reheated in oven and not deep fried. Rubbery skin, just not good. The beef short rib poutine gravy was light colored and didn't match the beef at all. The pretzel was good, will not be back

good eatery in a pretty cool environment. enjoyed eating outside in this beautiful weather with families hanging out in the small park adjacent to the restaurant.
The menu had some interesting choices. The short rib poutine is great! really a meal within itself. great dish to go with some alcohol ?!
The chicken and waffle sandwich is good, decided to roll with some black eyed peas on the side and they were made right! steakhouse salad was decent.
overall, great place to come and relax, grab some comfort food and good conversation.

The food was absolutely horrible and over priced. The service was great and that was it. I had a BLT sandwich that was falling apart when it arrived and greasy. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it tasted like a microwave meal. My kid had the Mac n cheese and it was like soup. My side was tomato bisque soup and it was lumpy and thick.

I went here once and wasn't impressed, then thought I'd give them a second chance. Last week I ordered their arugula and kale vegetable bowl with salmon on top. The greens were totally limp and wilted and the salmon was so overly seasoned/salted that I had to use my knife to scrape it off the top of the fish. (And I am a salt person!) Besides being waaay too salty, I will say the flavor was decent, but if they can't do a salad with fresh greens, there's a problem. Felt like I was given what they had to get rid of.

Everything here was good. This is the kind of place you head to after work to unwind and have some good ol comfort food. The outdoor seating is definitely where it's at. lots of activity going on outside, yet, it's the good kind. The short rib poutine is great! chicken and waffle sandwich ??. definitely a place i will return too and experience other menu items.

Made a reservation for a party of nine. Was greeted by a very friendly hostess. The food came out in a timely manner, except for one which we believe was not punched in, but netger the less The food was dynamite, chicken waffles, sandwich, and short rib Benedict were talk of the table. I also enjoyed the bacon wrapped figs. Bloody Mary's were delicious. However, there was one that was ordered virgin style & was charged same price as the one with alcohol Will definitely be back.

I had the frites and steak this time was excellent and on top of that a nice grandma and toddlers decided to pay for me and my other half without saying anything our waitress told us it was payed for thank you so much we will pay it forward my the Lord Bless you
