we have been here and few times and really wanted to like it, but its pretty expensive for average food and coffee. they are good at marketing their seasonal drinks but they all taste pretty mid, average breakfast food. we got 2 specialty lattes, a biscuit sandwich, and a breakfast burrito which came out to $38 before tip. we can get way better coffee for less in Raleigh. Definitely overhyped by social media. Also they almost assume you want to sit down and have coffee & food there when there is barely any places to sit.

Heard on Instagram of the coffee flights available at Sonder Coffee and had to see what all the Buzz was about! Well…they were awesome and so were the pastries and hot vanilla latte! Sonder was packed but the baristas were very efficient and we didn’t have to wait but a few minutes! We had an Awesome experience and we will definitely be back!

Literally the best coffee and people period! Nothing coffee is better in my opinion, I’ve gone across states and tried other coffee and have always said “I wish this was Sonder” or “still not better than Sonder”. The staff are so great and I’ve honestly become friends with them. Always have new and exciting flavors to match the season that you can’t get anywhere else and great year around. Couldn’t recommend more!

Decided to have a coffee outing with my girls due to a Saturday morning Dr appointment in the area. We had seen TikToks about Sonder. Let’s just say it was very underwhelming. My youngest daughter (15) said she would stick to Dunkin! Definitely not worth the 45 minute drive. Then to add, I am an insulin dependent diabetic, asked about options to sub the sugar free vanilla to create additional drink options and the cashier repeatedly said “we can’t do that”.

This is such a cute coffee shop! I went because I wanted to try the coffee flights. I got the seasonal one with the peppermint white mocha, gingerbread, orange cardamom, and little debbie lattes. The orange cardamom was the best. It was very unique. The gingerbread was also really good. The other two were just ok. I also got a biscuit with butter. It was nice and big and fluffy. The flights take a while, so keep that in mind if you order one.
This place was super busy, and there weren't any seats initially. Luckily we got seats along the window for three of us. I feel like they need to expand to a bigger location because there isn't a lot of space to wait for food/drinks. It was hard to distinguish between the line for ordering and who was just waiting.

My wife is a content creator and we’ve been meaning to try this place out for a while, especially because of their seasonal coffee flights. We arrived and ordered our drinks and a donut from Tepuy that they feature there. While we sat and waited for our items, we realized that the staff was physically bringing everyone’s order to their table. After 20 minutes, we wondered where our items were. I glanced over to the counter and realized our coffee flight was there the whole time. I got up and asked the lady if this was ours and she said yes. I asked her why she didn’t bring it to our table like she did to everyone else’s coffee and food and she didn’t give me an answer. Because it had been sitting there for so long, the tops of our drinks were all watery because the ice had melted, resulting in a very unpleasant drinking experience. Also, aesthetic wise, the drinks didn’t really look like what was featured online. For example, the blueberry latte didn’t have fresh blueberries on top like all the photos do online on social media. The poor service on top of the drinks not looking like it did online would probably make me not return here again.

Ordered a steamed milk drink online and had to wait 30 minutes. When I went in to check on the order at the time the drink was supposed to be ready, they hadn’t even started the drink. It seemed like baristas were more interested in talking with one another instead.

Visited on a busy Sunday morning and was surprised by how smoothly everything ran. Even though there was a long line, it moved quickly and we were able to get a table without much trouble. I ordered the seasonal flight and it did not disappoint, every flavor was excellent and thoughtfully crafted. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it for the quality. Despite how busy it was, the atmosphere wasn’t overly noisy, which made it enjoyable. Indoor seating is limited however there is seating outside, heaters would be a great addition during colder months. Parking was easy. Overall, a great experience and I’d gladly return.

Love Sonder! There is a reason there is a line to get your coffee - because it's great. I go prepared to wait for my coffee, which I do not have a problem with. I always enjoy their seasonal lattes as well.

Instagram got me here. The coffee won’t have me return. Drive from Cary wasn’t worth it - i was sold by the seasonal (Christmas) flights. Out of the 4 different drinks only ONE was OK. The full flight gets a 2 out of 10 for me and the ONE drink that I finished gets a 5 out of 10. Wanted to love it but just didn’t. Wishing this place much success though!!

It pains me to leave this as I love Sonder, but the disappointment I’ve had lately here is extremely discouraging. I wanted a Christmas drink flight all season and saved it until close to Christmas to feel more festive. We arrived one day at 3:50 to wait in line and when we finally got to the register by 4:01, we were told we couldn’t order a flight because they stop making them a hour before 5. We were let down as we don’t live close and had come specifically for the flight after work for this, but understood and ordered other items that were so good. We asked when we could come back and they said they’d be open until 12 today and to come back (no mention of them also stopping flights a hour before close or a heads up to come before 11) and we were naive in thinking because it was a shorter business hours day they wouldn’t end them so early. We arrived at 10:50 today after again traveling far and waited in line getting so excited to pick our flavors and order our flight, as we saw several being made as we waited. Upon getting to the register a few minutes after 11, we were told they unfortunately couldn’t make flights any more. I explained that we were just here the day prior and what had happened and there was no empathy. We had driven far for this and have continued to support the business and I fully understand processes and rules that make sense, but I think it needs to be made a lot more clear about timing of the flights as they’re pretty heavily marketed and shown by the community/influencers that get people excited for them. All to say, just sad of all things and think l a clear statement about flights would be helpful if this has happened to anyone else.

Took 40 minutes to get 3 coffees
I got a cold 8 oz cappuccino with 4 ounces of product that tasted like straight espresso for $8. I thought this would be my go to local spot but ig not

Convenient location. Prices are a little high. Pretty good menu. The staff who was only somewhat friendly forgot napkins and utensils with our order and did not offer to open the glass bottle Coke I got and I could not get the top off. They also made our food order wrong and we had to send it back to be remade since they forgot to leave off the toppings we did not want.

Went on a Saturday morning, it was jam packed but the line moved fairly quickly. Trendy vibes and decor, but their plant desperately needed water. Food was tasty, definitely get your pastry heated. I got an orange cardamom latte, and while it was tasty I think it was a single shot. Not strong espresso. The bathroom was cute, I've never experienced 1.5 ply tp before, but I think that's what it was. We also happened to go right when the Christmas market was happening, and I met the cutest puppy for adoption. If anyone is in the market for a full time snuggle bud, set yourself up with Cammi from Paws for NC. Would recommend for an adventurous weekend treat, but will not be becoming a regular patron.
