Came in tonight for the first time with my kiddos to get some ice cream. The ice cream was amazing and the woman behind the counter told me about every event in Wendell until tne end of the year. It was awesome. We will be back.

This is definitely a place to visit and shop. I've been here multiple times and never leave unsatisfied. Everyone who works here and visits here is incredibly polite!!! Great place to take tje kids and enjoy some delicious ice cream!

Absolutely adorable shop with tons of nostalgic candy, toys, trinkets, Ice cream and more. Warm and friendly atmosphere and staff. Loved stopping by and and walking around checking out the tons of items. You can loose track of time quickly in this store ?

We really love Wendell and this general store is super cute. My kids love the ice cream and it's fairly priced! However, my middle son is 3 and uses a wheelchair and the main entrance is not accessible. He would love to wheel into the store to choose his ice cream and candy but there is a step to get into the door. *Edit* The owner replied that there is a ramp available inside the store that they can put out if you ask an employee. If you are disabled and by yourself I guess you could knock to get the clerks attention so they could come help you out. Same for me as I wouldn't necessarily leave my toddler out front while I go inside. Thanks for the update!!

I've been coming to the General Store for years. Regina is the kind of business owner that loves to get to know her customers. My wife has a remote job, and she was looking for a part time job to get out of the house and into the community, and the owner hired her in a heartbeat. Since then, many of the employees have become good personal friends.Ice cream is cheap and good. There's all kinds of old timey candy, soda, and toys that we had when we were younger. If you're in town it's definitely worth a stop in.
