Craft Bistro in the Old Artists' Theater

Would I recommend this establishment? 10000% We reserved the upstairs for a private event and to say we were blown away is putting it mildly. How was the bartender/cocktails you ask? EXCELLENT! Service was top notch, drinks were awesome and she knew her stuff! How was the food? OMG! I can’t say enough….food was off the charts good. Steak tips, chicken picatta, mashed potatoes….😋😋😋😋 Did you have good service? YES! YES! A thousand times yes! Super nice and soooo accommodating! My only regret? I live to dang far! So please….heed my advice and run, don’t walk to make a reservation here! You won’t be sad…PINKY SWEAR!

This was our first time at Craft Bistro, and we could not have been happier--the food was fantastic, the waitstaff incredibly friendly, and the bartender made a gin drink that was out of this world. 10/10 recommended, and we will be back next time we're in the area.

Craft Bistro has been our go to restaurant for anniversaries and birthdays. We had a surprise party in their upstairs event room and it was perfect! Amazing food as always. Great service and the atmosphere was joyful and private enough for our crowd to be loud and share lots of laughs. LOVE the owners for going way above and beyond whether it's just the 2 of us or our whole family.

This was hands down the BEST restaurant we have ever eaten at! Me and my husband were blown away! Service was phenomenal, chef and owner was a wonderful soul, food was top tier, and the atmosphere was excellent. Worth every penny spent here and will definitely be coming back! Great upscale foodie place in West Jefferson. A bit noisy with all the hard surfaces but this wasn't a problem for us. Amazingly fresh seafood for being so far inland, apparently it's flown in every Friday morning. Everything was thoughtfully cooked and we had a great time. The only constructive criticism I could share is that at least on the day we visited, they had only budget-quality hot tea available after the meal, though they did have hot coffee my wife enjoyed. Just buy a couple boxes of Twinings, done and done. :-)

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. We had Drew as our waiter and he was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave great recommendations. The meal was just insanely good from start to finish. It's hands down the best meal my husband and I have had since moving to West Jefferson.

Overall, Craft Bistro surpassed our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

Great food and wonderful staff will be back again

One of the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten! Five stars is not enough. The owner and staff are out of this world on point. Just a fantastic experience and the delicious food worth every penny. We will definitely be back.

The staff were all excellent! They worked together well to provide the best service possible to their customers. They were all knowledgeable about the menu and in fact, the scallops were excellent as well as the lobster toast. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!

Craft Bistro is my favorite place in West Jefferson! Yes, the food is AMAZING, but it's the owners and the people that work there that bring me back again and again. You will not meet nicer people anywhere!! Order the salmon or the steak....you will be SOOOO happy you did!

Wanted to do one nice dinner during our week stay in the area. The town is mostly burger joints so we pretty quickly landed on this place by default. But we were in for a surprise because our meal turned out to be far more than a break from burgers. We had a phenomenal experience. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. This place is way more than the only nice place in town; it’s worth a detour!
