Place is usually dead unless it’s a late night usually on the weekends. Staff usually doesn’t interact with you unless you seek it out. Most things are out of budget for most people so if you plan to go here and buy even something small you’ll typically find it’s anywhere from 60-200$ not much selection in terms of DND basically a store to buy trading cards. Owners have a history of bad mouthing reviewers especially on Facebook. All in all not very good business practice. Don’t go here with any expectations as they won’t like up to it. All my friends and I avoid here as it’s just not worth it. If you want something like this but better go to dragons den in Boone NC

Edit: Had a bad experience with one of the employees wasn’t the owners so maybe just a bad day. Dragons den has a better selection for what me and my friends look for. Not always looking for dice. Don’t appreciate the guilt tripping by mentioning the funeral. Apologies for the loss of whomever passed.

Have no beef with the owners just a particular employee! Shouldn’t add a star for the rude comment and reply but will to appease the tension. Still stand by my review.

We were visiting family from out of town and decided to pop in and visit the friendly local game store in West Jefferson. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcome (including my 8 year old), game selection was nice, and they had a nice variety of stuff, from board games to video games to toys to dice. There was a nice selection of games to try in the store too, with plenty of tables to play. They also had these neat freeze dried candies that we've never seen anywhere else! Thanks for making us feel welcome, and would definitely recommend a visit if you love games or nerdy stuff

I went to buy a Twilight Masquerade booster on release date. The business sold me a damaged from factory booster box. Admitted it was damaged from the factory. After inquiring about the contents of the packs and realizing there was no way to squeeze money back out of the pulls , instead of standing behind their product and business they doubled down and said they would give credit for the pulls and give bulk to replace bulk. This is a sorry business practice. I have the whole exchange in Messenger. If you would like to see DM me. Galen is a money hungry fellow who puts profits over customers and I've personally seen him deny children happiness in his store over a couple of bucks. These people are everything that is wrong with the hobby. I lived in West Jefferson and have personally been in this establishment 50+ times, DO NOT EAT THE FOOD!, There are cockroaches and unheyigenic conditions galore. I'm sure they will respond with damage control. But this place is sorry.

Charging over DOUBLE MSRP on box sets for SWU. Honestly could have laughed this guy off of the phone. Charging scalper ebay prices as a store front is laughable and terrible business practice. Would not recommend to anyone unless you just don't have access to the internet, but then again you wouldn't be able to read this. TCGplayer.com even has better prices than this place.

Best tcg card shop anywhere around. I’ve done tons of trading with these guys dealing in pokemon and they’ve always offered good return prices.They occasionally get in unique collectible collections and sell at great prices, I’ve never dealt in any of their games and comics, but what I’ve seen seems like market or below prices, so great deals all around.Matthew is amazing, he’s the reason for the season. The knot to my tie. Basically, an amazing human.

Their stock is a little small but it's a very cute local shop that meets the needs for most tabletop gamers. They even have some retro video games.

It's a game store they're trying to make some money. They got a lot of selection , but not a lot to choose from , if that makes any sense. The employees were behind the counter most of the time not a lot of people go in and thenre's a lot of tables it's quiet, it's a lot of space. Everyone is pretty friendly.

Matthew was extremely friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely reccomend this store. They are reasonably priced and have a large game area.

I would not recommend purchasing anything from here. A friend purchased a Magic the Gathering Secret Lair nerf blaster from here and gave it to me as a gift. The product seemed intact. Upon opening it it was missing items which were promotional cards that were supposed to come with it. The product was supposed to come with a nerf blaster, 6 darts and 2 promo cards. I went back to the store to let them know that the promos were missing and they said that they took them out of all the nerf blaster packages and sold them all already ( which the cards have a slip in their packaging that says NOT FOR RESALE). They said if they left them in there they would have to sell the complete product for $100 or more. MSRP for the product is $39.99 for the whole package. They were selling it for $40. When my friend purchased it there were no signs saying that it was an incomplete product and they were not informed at the counter. Felling very disappointed and cheated I asked how could this be fixed and all that was offered was a refund or a $10 store credit for $60 worth of product that was missing. I will not be purchasing anything from this business anymore and I encourage you to do the same. If you do, I hope you have a better experience than I did. Very disappointing. This event happed on 12-26-23.

The staff was super friendly and they had a ton of cool dice, tabletop games, pokemon supplies, and awesome dnd mystery packs!

Kitchen Table Games is amazing; they serve the best smoothies and so many games to play or even buy while in their store. Nate and Mikayla were so nice and helpful. I'm definitely coming here again.
