I have nothing negative to say; this was an amazing dinning experience. All of the staff were so friendly and they were on top of everything. This Mother's Day buffet was the best possible start to the day! We will definitely be returning!

Just telling you straightforward, amazing delicious food fresh and made to order. Absolutely great service quick And attentive. Everything we tried, it was just delicious. The place is a beautiful gem in the middle of a mountain country. They probably would call it hole in the wall, but I would say it’s a gem in the wall. They came for dinner, but you’re coming again and again as we hear for four nights. Don’t believe the bad reviews I don’t know people probably will not in the mood. I haven’t had such a wonderful meal for quite a while. We moved from New Jersey couple years ago and the kind of miss The foot diversity. This one was authentic yummy and Memorable. The service was top-notch. In other words, beautiful country dinner fresh and delicious made the order. Very grateful.

The food was great an the Breakfast Buffet was really good an can't beat the price good serivce I'm 35 now an I remember coming here when I was little with my mom an dad an sister's now I'm bring my two kids here everytime I get a chance I highly recommend it I'm a over road truck driver an out of all the places I been this one of my favorite places to go eat when I come home

Food was very good with large portions.

Unless you want to be humiliated over children, and charged extra to be fussed at because your toddler decided they were no longer “so hungry I could eat this whole place” I do not recommend. We would have been happy to accept the extra charge for the 3 year old’s waste had the owner been kind, however this was not the case, nor was it explained when they charged us. Typically she will eat more than what was ordered for her, but she had a bad night and decided she was no longer hungry by the time her food got to the table. Children have bad days sometimes. Our waiter never came back to our table, nor did they last time we were there, so the logic of order one and get more did not seem applicable. My sister ordered what her daughter will typically eat. Our other toddler ate some of everything she asked for and we only got half scoops from the bar for her, and one biscuit that she ate half of, and we piled all the leftover food from 6 people onto one plate, so it did look like it was a lot, however it was from 6 people. My son took one bite of his liver mush, and said it was bad when it is usually his favorite breakfast food, and ate half a pancake, which was all we had gotten him because he said he wasn’t hungry. We also had to eat half of our meal without beverages because they never offered to refill them. Like I said, we would have been happy to pay the difference had it been explained that was what the extra charge was for, but instead of explaining why it was higher than our last visit (we went twice, two weeks in a row), the cashier said “will that be debit or credit” when we asked about the difference. We were then approached by the owner who told us to “get a little and go back for more” which is what we did try to do. It’s just hard to know what someone will like before it is tasted. (Again, we have small kids and one likes to try new food) We just couldn’t get a little bit of pancake and order more, they are cooked to order, because we figured on the wait staff not coming back to the table. If you have small children, this is not a place to visit.

It's where the smart Locals and the lucky Visitors eat! Sure, they have fancier items on the menu but for us, we love the delicious baby flounder and the Calabash shrimp, both from the senior menu. Both are excellent and truly value-priced. (Less than $10 each!) You can take out or eat in. You won't find a friendlier atmosphere anywhere on earth. My wife and I enjoyed a takeout tonight: one order of flounder and one order of shrimp and when we got home, we split it and each had a combo plate of flounder and shrimp. It's lightly-battered or your can get it grilled for just $1 more

Great family restaurant with good food.

I had a 12oz. Steak and I can say, I've been everywhere and ate steak, i put this as the best steak and I will say the best steak, way to go, know other word can describe it, the best steak !!! Further ado i found why this place is the best, the lady owner has been working there for forty years and has owned it for twenty two years, if you would have a steak competition, she would win out against anybody in the state of north carolina period !!!

Food is incredible and the salad bar is DELICIOUS!! Staff is always smiling and working hard!!

Parking: Plethora of parking and you will have no issue finding an open spot!

Kid-friendliness: All the staff get along great with children and never any issues whatsoever!

Love the food and service is always friendly. Salad bar is great too. They have a menu that offers something for everyone. As for the restaurant, it could use some updating. It's a little dark, wallpaper is out of date--just a little sprucing up could make a world of difference. But food is good.
