Rodie's Parkway Restaurant

We are in Jefferson for a month. Neighbors recommended the 20 minute drive to Rodie’s and they were not wrong. This is a no frills spot with good food! The flounder sandwich and the hot dogs all the way accompanied by sweet potato fries and onion rings were great. If you are in a hurry this is not the spot for you. All orders are made to order. Nothing sits around waiting for the next customer. I wish I would have taken some pictures inside and out. Worth the short drive from Jefferson. Enjoy!

My family and I have ate here for years. The food, especially the cheeseburgers and the corn nuggets, is delicious! Great prices. Staff are always great for a conversation and just darling with my children. They offer seating inside and outside (picnic tables). They offer a full menu plus a standing cooler that changes weekly with homemade desserts and an ice cream cooler.

We have been Rodie's customers for years! We always find our way back and think that it is one of the best breakfast spots in Ashe County!!!

We visit Rodie’s an average of once a month and have always had a great experience. Service is friendly and fast and menu is great and affordable! We are fortunate to have this gem!

Highly recommended to whomever enjoys legitimate southern hospitality & cookin’, while also keeping your wallet nice & fat! The menu is…PHENOMENAL, DELICIOUS, SPLENDID, ELEGANT, PERFECTION! It offers a PLETHORA of amazing meals as well as variety! We dare you to NOT come back for more!!

Parking: The parking spots are plentiful and should pose no issue!

Kid-friendliness: The service is Wonderful, especially for the little ones! They’re always happy and smiling while still providing authentic Southern Hospitality for ALL!!

Upon entering, there was a very strong smell of burnt grease. After 10 minutes & no interaction with any employee, we left. Definitely will be in the running for Ashe Counties "Greasy Spoon of the Year" award.
