We had a funeral at the gravesite up the road. This was the closest place for us to gather for a meal. Our server was kind and very accommodating. We were a rather large group for this small cafe. There were a lot of options for food. Some tasty, and some, not as good as it could have been. This could be a lovely cafe, with more heart and effort put into it. We were thankful to have a place to meet up with our family. Thank you.
my boyfriend and i were a little perplexed by the menu, as there didn’t look to be any mexican-inspired foods rather than a spanish omelette. it’s mainly american-inspired food. that was a let-down.
the food itself was just alright. to be frank, it’s food you could easily make at home, but why not support a local business. no lemons for sweet teas or water, and the tea had a… strange taste. i had the jalapeño burger, my boyfriend had the patty melt....
