“First time and won't be the last! Best Barilla tacos I've ever had! (Sorry to my other friends out there) fajita guesadilla was on time!! Hidden gem! Please check times for availability. Going to make it a regular stop!”
“Very pretty setting but the overall experience was too structured and formal for us. It seems to be working for them though because it was very busy for a Friday afternoon. The servers are knowledgeable and welcoming. The cost of the tastings and bottles IMO was not in line with the price.”
“From the great wines to the well run tasting room and restaurant, Jolo Winery and Vineyards is the best experience around. I am glad it is so close to home. Jon Kroll, Pilot Mountain.”
“We bought two BBQ specials for a friend's family whose Mother passed away. They said it was very good. They have great food and you can find several ole timey treasures there.”
“❤?I don't even like coffee and I LOVE this place!! Super friendly people! Great atmosphere. You get a perfect view of Pilot Mountain from the shop windows! Great for locals and tourists alike! IF you are like me and don't like coffee, they have many other choices. Frozen chocolate, teas, sodas, you name it, they have it! A "must stop at" spot if you are traveling through Pilot Mountain.Parking: Free parking beside of shop and free parking on street”
“Adorable, quaint little store with very friendly staff! Macarons, cupcakes and all the other sugary treats are so delightful. I love to see the new items each week. All the yumminess make me come back each and every week! If you haven’t been in, you should def give it a try!!”
“We found this great spot while visiting Pilot Mountain! The food was AWESOME & our waitress was really good!! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Pilot Mountain area!!!!”
“We visited Pilot Mountain and ate here for dinner. Delicious GF, DF, SF options. I had the black bean burger on GF bun with the fixings and my husband had the Sunshine Bowl. He commented that the mushrooms made it seem like there was chicken although it was totally vegan. Atmosphere was chill, full of personality and unique. They also have lots of unique beverage options including GF beer and non alcoholic beer:beverages along with standard wine and beer. This was a fun and yummy dinner location!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, dairy free and soy free cheeses”
“We came to visit Pilot mountain and to see the fall leaves, decided to go to the antique stores in the downtown area after. Before we came to visit, I did a little research for restaurants to go to incase we got hungry and this came up.I LOVE a mom and pop owned place, and this is it! I didn't look at pictures when I was doing my research, and we quickly found out why it was named Squeeze box. This restaurant is TINY! It has a counter with maybe 10-15 stools, and just enough room to walk by to get to your seat, or leave. We were welcomely greeted when we walked in, and we took two open stools. You can tell it is a family owned establishment and a local staple. A woman brought us over two menus, she was super kind and friendly. We split a double cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection, quickly, and they also brought us any toppings we wanted. It was simple and delicious! Is this a fine dining establishment? no. Is this an adorable, tiny delicious place to get a burger? YES!If we are ever back in Pilot Mountain, we will be back to Squeeze Box!”
“If you wanna help out a family owned business this is a great spot for it! The staff was extremely kind and very will informed about the food. Food was fresh and affordable!”
“The food here is great, it takes a while to come out but is very tasty. They have many kid friendly options, and several drinks. The prices are a tad high, but it is nice for a night out.”
“Great food, awesome service, and wonderful environment! Definitely recommend!Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Staff and owner was wonderful to the children that were in the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for anyone in a wheelchair. Tables are also easy for someone in a wheelchair to access.”
“We recently moved to the Pilot Mountain area and just visited Taste of China for the first time. It was nothing short of excellent! We got the General Tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, two spring rolls and a side of sweet and sour sauce. All was fresh, piping hot and very tasty, and it was enough for dinner for two plus lunch tomorrow. Service was fantastic, too - very friendly! We are tickled to pieces to find such a good Chinese restaurant just five minutes from home, and we will definitely be back. (Side note: the General Tso had a bit more heat to it than we're used to, but it was delicious nonetheless. A spoonful or two of plain rice afterward helped "cool the burn.")”
“Always have a good time in here. I used to be up there all the time, now it's just when the Hot Nights Hot Cars cruise ins bring me to Surry County. Thursday nights were my thing when I lived up that way”
“Right on main street and very busy and small, service was good for the one server and the one cook. Pizza was good. I think it only has 6 tables so at lunch time many are turned away.”
“Got 2 BBQ sandwich and onion ring to go food was very good , the ladies behind the bar was enjoying life the afternoon I stopped in . Did not have to wait long on ”
“They had delicious southern comfort food and our waitress was so nice! I had the four-veggie platter and my son had the ultimate grilled cheese which he absolutely loved. They also have Cheerwine! Bonus! We will definitely be back.2/28/24Still a family favorite! We like to come here to celebrate big events. Today I got an omelet and tomatoes & Macaroni and my son had the Philly cheese steak Sub. We both had chocolate pie for dessert! Delicious!!”

“Thank you Rigatoni's for never wavering on the same best pizza Everytime we order from there. The cooks nail it every time. The staff are always pleasant, they remember you, especially when you eat in. You can get a large pizza with one topping cheaper than two people can eat at almost all fast food joints. They always, always, cook your chicken wings just the way you want them, and their chef salad is perfect and fresh. Thanks Rigatoni's”
“Not much to say other than we popped in for a quick bite and were served politely and promptly. Subway usually isn't our first choice but we were nearby and hungry. We stopped in after a wine tasting at JoLo vineyards on a Sunday. It was raining pretty hard outside so there was only one other group in the place with us. We got what we wanted, which was semi-healthy food made quickly.”
“When I first walked in, I had no idea how anything worked, so I asked the lady at the counter. She was very polite and informative and made me feel very comfortable. When I decided, i was going to dine in I proceeded to a table and took a seat. Waitress never came. I then proceeded to the the buffet. M Made a plate and sat back down.My waitress never came not once to check on me or ask me if I wanted anything to drink. Nor bring me any silver. I had to walk up to her and ask her for a glassof water and silverware. She then did not proceed to apologize. Nor ask me if I needed anything else. The food was good, especially for the price. It's country home cooked comfort food. And you have a pretty decent variety I was a little piglet and I. Enjoyed my meal. I paid a little over $13 for the buffet which I had a cup of cheddar broccoli soup. I had I piece of I believe catfish small salad mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans With a couple of Hush Puppies. I. Enjoyed my meal but as I am a server myself. I was a little annoyed with not being waited on myself.”
“Kind of like a more up scale fast food restaurant. Not sure if the BBQ was made in house but it was good regardless. Mashed potatoes were great! There are some jars of Aunt Bea’s jelly’s and jams for sale, HOWEVER, they don’t actually serve the jelly in the restaurant, but they do have smuckers. Very odd to sell your own jelly by the jar but not have it in the restaurant. Decent prices, and food was great! The young man at the counter was nice and another young woman came over to answer some questions for us! Only down fall is the jelly thing lol”
“Hot an fast even with a buzzing dive through I went inside to order at the counrer an took it on to the shop an I was out faster then the drive through but not by much. Both sids of the service worker busting their ”
“i don't usually have a hard time at this location, mainly bc i know to stay away from a busy place if i don't have the time. i stopped by on my way home last night for what seemed like a normal night. i was greeted and paid for my food by a man named gabriel last night who absolutely made my night. he was super peppy and polite. it made the experience even better than it already is and i couldn't thank the staff enough for sending me off in higher spirits than when i arrived. i had a tough day yesterday so ending it off on a good note w this awesome crew is EXACTLY what i needed. A+ mcdonald's. thankful for all yall do, even when we don't tell you enough.”
“I ordered a chicken wrap and when it came, it was so nasty tasting that I couldn’t eat it and I am not generally a picky eater. Chicken was in chunks and not seasoned well, very little lettuce, dressing and cheese. When I returned it to the counter the woman that took care of me gave me my money back. I then ordered a kids meal for my supper and she didn’t charge me, gave me a medium sized frosty. So, all in all, food was poor quality (Dave would be disappointed) but the service and friendliness of the workers was great (Dave would be proud).”
“This is a really cute brewery with some of the nicest people. The place is located in a really cool area where you almost feel like you're going into a forest. Once you drive up their driveway, parking is located atop the property where it's a short walk down to the taphouse.Presumably family owned, the owner greeted us and gave us a run down of the beers available. She also allowed us to try a few options.Beers range around the $6-$7 price range for 16 oz. There is indoor seating but the outdoor is nice and shaded so you must it outside! We had such a nice lunch here (can bring your own food in) and if you're lucky you'll even meet their dog!”
