Recently added to the menu are the BEST SHRIMP AND GRITS EVER!!!!!, Cinnamon rolls pancakes, and the Down South with home fries. While there have been occasional reports of slow service and undercooked food, the restaurant generally provides great service, making it a worthy stop for a satisfying meal. The young man knew the menu well and was very knowledgeable. The brisket is excellent and the chicken & Waffles are just as delicious. This place is awesome. If someone gets food from town, it comes from Buttermilks! Great people, great food and great service! An excellent restaurant with excellent food. Don't sleep on this restaurant you'll regret it. If someone's local or traveling you've got to try Buttermilks. They have good kid options and it is wheelchair accessible. What a wonderful place to eat. Service was excellent & food was delicious. If someone’s in Whitesville, NC, this place is recommended.
