Googled local bakeries since I was new to the area and the restaurant I just left had disgusting "desserts" and I need to get something sweet. It was right up the street.

Small strip mall. They were on the end and had a drive thru that was very busy. I was the only person in the lobby and it's very small.

The only specialize in brownies, cupcakes and their signature croissants. They looked amazing but I was driving and didn't want to wear the toppings so I ordered some cupcakes and brownie.

Owner came out from the kitchen and really thankful I stopped by. Next time I promise to get the croissants with several toppings.

Wow! I wish I would’ve known how delicious these were going to be- I would have ordered more! Definitely a hidden gem. We got some croissants on our way back from the beach. If we weren’t so far away we’d be back tomorrow.

Terrible experience. Came in on a windy day and the old man working there was very rude about the door swinging open behind me when I walked in. He said “did it not occur to you to close the door” followed by “and how old are you”. Incredibly rude! I’ve been to Darel’s before but this is the first interaction with this man and I hope this isn’t how he talks to other customers. Terrible customer service !

I’m a big foodie, I was so incredibly surprised to come across this bakery today. Initially we were looking for bagels but the croissants were phenomenal. Today we tried the maple bacon glaze specialty croissants and oh my god. Talk about amazing. The flavor was so powerful and it just tasted amazing we will definitely be coming back for more. The value is fantastic but if you have a long drive I would recommend more than one or two. We will be coming back. The quality was amazing. Yes from us!!

Best croissants I’ve had, they aren’t too sweet and are perfectly flaky. The customer service is always top notch. Bill is Gold. I came into town to do some community relations work with an afterschool program and their machine wouldn’t take my corporate AMEX card. I left with a personal dozen, and do you know Bill ran outside with the dozen croissants and cupcakes I ordered for the program and said “You don’t leave here without these”. I insisted no as this was a work related expense and it’s ok I understand some places don’t take AMEX. He was adamant I take them and pay it back later. Talk about Southern hospitality, I love my hometown and appreciate the staff at Darel’s for always reminding me of why I keep coming back !!! 🥰🥴🥴🥰

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing! Went in there for my first time about an hour ago. I grabbed a couple croissants and a Gooey bar. They were all absolutely perfect. I didn’t think a croissant could be that flaky and moist at the same time. The cake taste like a natural homemade cake. I figured it was going to be good but this blew me away. I just can’t believe how good it was. The girl in the front was very sweet and the man cooking the sweets in the back was very personable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and at least try it. A croissant is less than a couple dollars and I promise it will be worth it!

My next door neighbor just brought us a dozen filled croissants from Darels Bakery and oh my lord!! THEY ARE FREAKING AMAZING! My husband and I were actually fighting over which flavors were the best. These are hands down the best croissants I've ever had.

I could live off those cream cheese croissants for the rest of my life. I will forever be buying these.

pervert there near tried molesting me, making vulgar advances after placing my order. On the Bible, he was trying to pull up the dress, i happened to be wearing, right there at the glass front door of his business. I haven't dared going back since. And no he didn't care his wife also worked there. He was the only one there at the time. (If it's charged ownership since 2021 when this occurred at the Hills parking lot location, I'm not referring to anyone there). This happened spring/ summer 2021. Since I've had to be reminded of that day, every time I see a advertisement and have wondered how many women he's gotten by with doing this to. This is a tall older white man who admitted being owner with his wife, not a employee. It was so horrible that once I seen a woman and her child walking by through the glass front, I thankfully got out of his grasp and got to out the building. I asked the nice lady if she'd act like she knew me and would walk with me to my car. Great food there but definitely not worth the price I paid.
