Came into Ed's on a hot dog tasting trip down East. This was my first time in Whiteville and I enjoyed walking up and down Madison St. a bit before heading into Ed's for lunch. Ed's was BUSY! A line to be seated and an even longer line for takeout. I got a little two top next to the stools at the counter. It was fun hearing all the chatter coming from the hardworking folks in the kitchen. Service is attentive and to the point. I got a couple of hot dogs with chili, mustard, and slaw on them. They came out quickly and everything was piping hot. Standard chili and slaw and bun. Nothing amazing but nothing to find fault with either. I took my check to the window, paid, and was out in about 15 minutes. A nice little place to grab a bite in Whiteville.

Honestly the best burger I have ever had in my whole life. The food is knock your socks off good. I dont know why others are complaining about the cost. For the size of that burger. I think its cheap. Caution my buddy got the double. He had a hard time fitting it in his mouth.

The best hotdog of any of the places on Madison. The chili is the best and the hotdog was not dry like the other places and the service was great and the restuarant was clean and neat.
