We just left the McDonald's in Whiteville, NC. We ended up walking out without the food we ordered after 15 minutes. At 10:45 we ordered fries, cookies and a small coffee. After 10 minutes we got the coffee but they had just started the cookies, and said they weren't serving lunch yet. We had already been told 5 minutes earlier that they were working on the cookies and they could go ahead and do the fries before 11:00. In the meantime there was a lot of arguing going on back there. As I said, we left with a small coffee that ended up costing more than $7.

Sad because no Grinch meals. We did not order here because that is what we wanted. None on Madison either. Drove to Tabor City, still disappointed. We did however order nuggets and cheeseburgers.

I placed my order shortly at 1:32 PM. I walked out at 1:50 PM because I wasn't going to let it go 45 minutes again like I did in Leland. I looked at the board behind the counter. My order number wasn't there. And because it wasn't there, I had to take strawberry instead of apple pies. Had to get my own drinks. No matter how long the drive thru line is, looks like I have to accept it. McDonald's needs to get it together with their mobile app or they're gonna lose another loyal customer.

The people working were rude everyone there acted like they were mad, food on the floor in kitchen area, and my chicken patty and my daughters nuggets were fried in what looked like really old dirty oil…. Will stop and eat grass off the side of the road before I go here again.

After watch the movie Founder, I did not think I would go to McDonald's again, but this McDonald's location changed my mind!
After standing at the counter of the Arby's across the street for over 5 minutes without so much as a hi, we left and walked across the street to McDonald's. I felt like I was at an old school McDonald's. The kind of McDonald's where the employees welcome you, are courteous and seem happy to do it. This location checked all the bare minimum boxes ... (extremely) clean restrooms, hot food, correct order delivered to our table and employees who smiled and offered to assist when needed. I was so impressed, I had to take a moment to say thank you to one of the employees for taking time to do things the right way. Even more impressive, I dont recall seeing a tip jar on the counter! Thank You McDonald's in Whitesville, NC.

The workers at the Whiteville, NC location are always friendly but I do question the cleanliness of the food when a manager CHOOSES to place a nasty trashcan covered at the bottom with food and spilled liquids in a window to drive thru customers at the FIRST window. To order your food and pull up to the first window to see a dirty trashcan sitting right next to Halloween happy meals buckets that go to innocent litttle kids! Come on now that’s just LAZY not to mention NASTY! A trashcan should be on the floor not in a window next to and touching products your going to give to little children…..You mean to tell me there was NOTHING else that could have been put in that window besides a NASTY trash can?? McDonald’s you have got to do better!

Worst experience I've had at any Mcdonalds. Waited 30 mins for our food along with several other's. When I asked for the manger he wouldn't even look in our direct. When I finally attempted to eat my food there was hair in my fries and cheese burger. I have stopped at this location multiple times on my to Charlotte. Something has definitely changed.
