Horrible service and completely unprofessional staff at the Whiteville McDonald’s locations.
My first visit was at the JK Powell Blvd location. I placed a dine‑in order and was made to wait over 30 minutes just to pick up my food. By the time it was ready, my entire order was cold, and my guests had to eat without drinks because the staff never brought them out. That is disgusting and unacceptable.
On my second visit at the Madison Street location, I went through the drive‑thru. Once again, the fries were cold. When I politely asked for hot fries, the front window attendant seemed willing to help, but a staff member in the back got offended and started shouting and swearing, insisting the fries were “hot as hell.” Being cursed at by employees for simply asking for fresh food is beyond unprofessional.
Both experiences show a clear pattern of horrible service, disrespectful staff, rude customer service, and vulgar language. When these restaurants were under Rust Enterprises, issues were handled professionally. Now, it feels like they let anyone play with your food and disrespect customers.
I will not be back. Other McDonald’s locations — Hope Mills, Fayetteville, and Elizabethtown — are far better than this sorry excuse. Columbus County McDonald’s has lost my business.

We went to get the Grinch meal which was abruptly discontinued. We placed four orders for meals and ended up with two extra coffees in place of the fries.

This is my first time at this location 5/2/25 and it is the best McDonald's ever. Best manager ever. With her good attitude and running around making things work, I didn't even mind the wait for my food at all. Definitely making this review as I eat. I will be back. Wish evey location had good energy like her.

I don't think there is a person of legal drinking age here and it shows. The guy in front of me asked THREE times for a refill and the poor kid behind the country just walked around politely confused. He left without his drink.
Thank god I don't live here and this was my option.

It's an alright McDonald's, has messed up orders more than once, really depends on the day and sometimes you'll get lucky sometimes you won't
Took over 45 min thru drive up with three cars in front of us. No one at pick up window one waited over 5 min. Went to window 2 . No one there . Talked to employee deliverying to waiting car. They said they check in it. Waited another 5 min. We finally left without quarter pounder, double cheese burger and coke. Rated it 0.

Extremely slow last time I visited Whiteville, never got my simple online order yesterday, and a relative reported mold and other problems today. What is going on?
