On a Saturday, we had the buffet... wanted something quick. 1:15 lunch. 2 adults $30.90 cash...Food options were minimal and most of the vegetables were from a can. Fresh cabbage, not sure about the beef stew. Meat loaf was not to my liking tiny fried shrimp and over cooked and over breaded fish filets were too salty. Best thing was the fried chicken. When you walk in You can tell the restaurant has been here for a while. It definitely needs some updating but having said that the service was great They're very friendly. The food was wonderful Probably some of the best fried chicken I've ever had and the sweet tea was outstanding as well.
First time here. I googled local restaurants and wanted to support a small business.
Found the name and it reminded me of the old Western Sizzilin that was popular in the 70s and 80s. Stopped in and found more that I expected. They also had a buffet bar.
I really wanted an old fashioned steak and baked potato but I opted for the bar. There was a small salad bar and a hot bar.
The hot bar has a small mixing of vegetables...
