Phenomenal food (the wagu steak special with a crab cake on top, and the sweet potato polenta cake instead of asparagus, and fried potato wedges; and chocolate mousse and a special: brown-sugar pound cake with sautéed apples, both for dessert)... all for less than $100 with a really good tip. It was some of the best food I've ever had, and the service was incredible too--very welcoming of both me and my sweet dog, and really kind and respectful to the other patrons as well. I can't wait to come back

Fabulous menu, service and food. I love French cuisine, and this place is such a find. Starting with a small baguette and escargot, moving on to swordfish & pork belly, it was all delicious. Service was perfect and we enjoyed chatting with the owners to learn the history of the restaurant. Nous voulons revenir!

Great food and even better service! We tried the pad Thai, crab sandwich and quesadilla and everything was great. We will definitely come back!
Oh and they were very attentive to our little one. She even got to meet the chef (she’s still super excited about that)

Owner must be new to management. Had a large party booked for special occasion. We got put back into a non air conditioned room. Sweating the whole dinner. Manager comes in and was rude and not helpful to the situation

I had the oriental tuna let me tell you it was phenomenal ! Would highly recommend it! My 7 year old and 5 year old were eating more off my plate than theirs they enjoyed the tuna , sautéed spinach, and green beans so much! Definitely my favorite dish so far. The filet mignon with the peppercorn sauce was also amazing! Definitely our two favorite dishes this far!!!!

My first trip, and I was just blown away! The space is lovely, with 3 rooms, one for casual dining, one for more formal dining and a meeting room for business functions. There is also a cozy bar in the back. We were there for lunch, and the burger with peppercorn-brandy sauce was one of the best burgers I've ever had. They also offer steaks, including A5 wagyu, if you are looking for something heavier. Service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Absolutely cannot wait to go back!

An amazing restaurant. The staff was friendly, the owners so sweet, and the foood... Every but 6 was ecstasy. The shirt runs were fantastic, the pork belly melts in your mouth, the escargot... The escargot was just so flavorful made even better by the bread. I wish they were closer to Raleigh so i could eat there all the time. At the save time, I'm glad they aren't bc given the food quality it would be twice the price. Please come eat here. You will not be disappointed.

The Chef and the Frog is a fantastic place to have dinner! Today I had out of town guests and had heard how wonderful everything was there. I decided to see for myself. We were blown away—everything was exemplary! The service was great, our waitress (Morgan) was knowledgeable and attentive, the live piano music was a nice touch, and the food was amazing! Best ahi tuna my guest and I had ever had, the beef bourguignon was tender and delicious, the house made Caesar dressing was excellent, and I could go on. Give this place a try, and I promise it won’t be a one time event!

The food was so delicious, I didn’t even get a pic! We live about an hour away and were in town to pick up something from Lowe’s. Hungry and too late to cook anything, we found this little gem. Meals we devoured: Steak Frites (the chimichurri was so good I could have drank it), NY strip cooked to perfection served with roasted potatoes (ohhhhh, these!! Slight sweetness and roasted with a little crust… a must get), and kid’s cheeseburger! Our 7 year old loved the steaks so much we had to box up her burger for the ride home which she ate about 30 minutes later (and LOVED). Bananas foster - we took it togo and made in about a mile before we had eaten the whole thing. Already planning our return and worth every minute of the hour drive there! The owner was so kind and explained each question we asked! Highly recommend!

We had lunch here, and the food was great. Service was slow and we waited about an hour to get our food. It would have been nice to get our salad first but everything was served at the same time. Overall, experience is good.
