Nice people, the person in front of me didn’t have cash they said just to take the food and bring it back later which was really cool. A couple of weeks ago I came across a best burger in NC post and they were mentioned. Decided to stop today and try the burger, and I’ll give my honest opinion on it. The burger was just “okay.” I’d compare it to a burger your mom would make in the kitchen just round and not really compressed, it had a hint of pink as you can tell they basically drop them on the grill and let them cook. The toppings available were mustard, onions, and chili so they lost some points from me by not having slaw, there was also ketchup on the counter. Overall it’s a decent burger for 4.00 however wouldn’t make a top 10 in NC list for sure!

The staff continue to not wear gloves while preparing food. Noticeably, the staff handles money, and other things, while also using the naked hand to prepare food. This is in spite of advice from customers who really like the hotdogs and hamburgers, but cannot stand the blatant sharing of germs.

Have been trying to go to the places recommended in Our State Magazine. Ward's Grill was one of two left on the list. IT IS AMAZING!!! Cheeseburger all the way was my favorite of all time. EXCELLENT burger, the meat just melts in your mouth. The people are so nice and the process is very efficient. Line keeps moving along. I highly recommend it!!

The very friendly atmosphere and staff was great! Great hot dogs! I'm a little iffy on the hamburger, though. But everyone's taste is different! Chili fries were great! It's really a place where people from all walks of life gather. That's what makes it great!
