Food..... good, beer...... fantastic,
Whoever decided to add the smooth jazz, elevator music needs to be sent home without pay. Does nt give me the sit for a while and drink with my friends vibe.....more like what floor are we getting off at. Please change it or dont play it.

Not family friendly, don’t think I’ll go back because of it.

Great beer and great atmosphere! LOVE the fact that they are adults only, a huge plus for me!

I’m from South Carolina, and my family had just attended the ACC Championship baseball game. On our way up that morning, we spotted this brewery and planned to stop for a drink and some food from the lobster truck on our way back. However, we were very disappointed when they wouldn’t allow our 15-year-old son through the gift shop, let him grab something to eat, or even use the restroom! This place is not family-friendly at all. Don’t expect to be allowed through the gift shop unless you’re with your dog, not your child. It’s frustrating, especially when you consider that in a real biergarten in Germany, 14-year-olds are allowed to drink.

I was previously a longtime supporter of Red Oak. After moving away, my husband and I returned often to support this brewery. We just made the trip after over a year with our 10 month old on Mother Day weekend and were turned away because of their no babies/young children rule. We were left shaking our heads and wondering how a brewery would want to turn away a huge subset of customers, especially those who have potentially been longtime supporters. We’re very try disappointed by this decision and will no longer be supporting Red Oak. Maybe this is why their parking lot was empty on a Saturday… I highly recommend Red Oak taking the time to google other breweries that follow this rule, I’m not sure they’re find many others. For anyone wanting a family brewery, Sierra Nevada in Fletcher, NC outside Asheville is awesome and very family friendly!

Absolutely 💯 the best all-around brewery anywhere near the Triad Area. The staff is absolutely on point every day. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and perfect for a brewery! I could talk about the outside area all day. Now, what everyone wants to know, the beer is AWESOME!!! Same great taste and perfect temperature. They just added a new beer, Dunkel, which may be my new favorite!! Go, relax, have a beer 🍺. You will love it!

I finally got a chance to bring my mug I had to buy for a meet-up a while back, but was disappointed that even with the supposed mug discount, the beer still costs as much as my neighborhood brewery in G'boro.
I ordered a pretzel, which was frankly awful, considering it is a biergarten. It was dry and tasted frozen and warmed up. The fact that they don't allow outside food (unless it's a truck) makes this even more egregious.
Finally, I've been told that you can't bring children to the biergarten, which really destroys any similarity to actual German biergartens, which exist so that parents can consume beer. It's a big place, so the fact they couldn't even find room to cordon off a small family area makes the business seem even stingier.
Response - My only response is that the pretzel is "popular" because it's about the only thing to eat, and people think it will be good. The lack of pride in serving it says all it needs to.

Had to leave my wife and kids in the parking lot for a brew. Pets are allowed and have their own fancy area w/fountain, but no space for families

We always stop in Red oak while visiting family. I'm pretty sure my family has been coming here now for like 15 years or sinced they opened. It is probably the most authentic beer house I've ever been in. Also, there namesake red oak beer, is actually very good. I just don't care for any of the others they make. This last visit, we took a stroll through their fine art gallery they had open. Definitely worth a peak, especially when waiting for others to arrive. Overall, it's a great spot to gather with friends or family or both. Of course being long tables it's hard to converse with everyone in your group sometimes. We always try to get a spot where we can put a chair on the end. The servers there are all great and efficient. Unfortunately, our last visit we ended up on a cold night so was not able to utilize the great outdoor area. Also, the food truck option was limited and something none of us would eat. If in the area, a great place to stop and have a cold one.

What a gorgeous location. Friendly staff and disabled spots in the front. It is quite a walk to get into the entrance and not disabled friendly. There is a wheelchair to get to the second floor. Overall I loved the place except i wish it was easier to maneuver for disabled patrons. They have live music and a variety of beers. Super friendly staff that are very helpful

Wow, I'm really impressed. Every beer they make tastes really good. Food is good. Atmosphere is phenomenally friendly. Milo made friends as well as I. Beautiful ladies working here. The place is landscaped with such depth and thought. Gorgeous all around.
