The beers are great and they have chicken wings that are some of the best I've ever had! Definitely recommend!

Great beers, nice dining room and bar area, plus a lovely patio and creekside sitting area. Good fusion beer drinks too. I had a blueberry wheat beer and cider drink, and hubby loved his jalapeño beer and cider drink. Great service too. Didn’t try food but a nice tight menu.

This is a dive bar.... And what a Great one it is. We are not beer drinkers but we decided to stop in and see what they had in the way of drinks. The bourbon selection was amazing! Bookers, Weller, Penelope, Basil Hayden and I could go on and on. $6 shots of Maker's Mark ‼️ I settled on doubles of that with a splash of Coke. We were there on Tuesday which is dollar Wing day. I had the hot honey garlic wings smoked and fried to perfection... So good! Ron and Tina were running the place that day, great people,made us feel right at home. We are from the lowcountry of South Carolina but next time we head for the mountains we will be stopping by. Thanks Y'all Rick and Jan

We happened across the Angry Elk Brewing Co one weekend after a concert at the casino because we were looking for some good wings. They did not disappoint! We got their wings, a burger, and a couple of their beers. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly! We ended up returning the next night. If you are in town, definitely stop by and check them out!

I've been a sometimes patron of Angry Elk Brewery for a few months now starting in April of '25. The first time I visited the place they had had a hiccup with their brewing license and did not have their beer on tap nor did they have food available regularly and thus only had guest brewery beers on tap and a guest food truck. Despite this the bartender went above and beyond to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Upon my second trip to the area their brewing permit had been restored and I was first introduced to their signature delicious Copperhead IPA. During this visit they boasted about their soon to open on site permanent kitchen truck. I was able to return soon after the grand opening of their magnificent little kitchen. The menu is simple but the owner takes pride in making sure things are done right. A delicious take on bar nachos, with a beef and bean chili as a base. Chicken wings dry brined for 24hrs and flash fried to perfection and served with your choice of delectable sauce. Beautiful smash burgers and more!! The bartenders Angel and Spencer are attentive and know how to make good drinks. The owner Paul(and his awesome pup Star) frequently hang out in the bar posing as a regular patrons and furthermore really care about and emerse themselves in the experience of their guests. I highly recommend stopping in for a beer and a bite!
