Delicious! We had take out for work and the food was hot, made correctly, and delicious! The calabash shrimp is delectable! Every time we order from Dons it's always delicious and service is always great. 10/10 recommend for steaks and seafood alike!

We felt pushed out, staff didn’t welcome us at all but was welcoming to everyone around us even said buy and come back to everyone else, And the front door person that checks u out looked at us like we was not welcomed, skinny lady long red head…. waitress basically gave us sour cream that was left out the refrigerator twice when the wrapper stated that it should be in 40 degree climate. Sad cause it was our first time eating their

The flounder was crunchy and tasty, coleslaw and hushpuppies were delicious, and the potato was cooked just right! Our waitress was very busy and did an awesome job! Best meal I've had in a while! ?

Just moved here and decided to check it out. The check in process is a little confusing, causing us to be sent to the back of a long line. She clearly seen us standing there for 30 minutes, and when I inquired as to when we were to go back, she added us to bottom of the list. I explained we had never been here. She looked at me and said "oh well, I'm sorry" and we waited another 30 min.Once we were seated, everything was great! Service and food was excellent!Just think the check in could be clearer for those who have never been here.

Ordered the broiled flounder shrimp combo. The flounder was paper thin, over cooked, and full of bones. The shrimp were tough and also overcooked. When I complained, they compt my drink which was ironic since that was something they didn't mess up. It will be a long time before I go back.

Ordered the broiled flounder shrimp combo. The flounder was paper thin, over cooked, and full of bones. The shrimp were tough and also overcooked. When I complained, they compt my drink which was ironic since that was something they didn't mess up. It will be a long time before I go back.
Ordered flounder sandwiches. The buns fell apart, the Cole slaw had chunks of cabbage stem, the fries were undercooked and cold.I guess all tables get some hush puppies. They brought 4 overcooked hushpuppies with crunchy dingle berries attached to them. Very unsatisfying meal.

A party of 7 of us went after church. We were seated promptly everyone of us ordered something different from the menu and were all very happy with our choices. Service we excellent unfortunately the server did not introduce herself and I forget to ask her name. Portions sizes I would say are shareable. We all left full and still had to go boxes. The only negative was they don't offer a kids menu so was a little pricey for smaller portions for the kids.

My mother-in-law and I were craving seafood. We were close to Wilkesboro, so we stopped at Don’s seafood restaurant. Everything was five stars from the service to the cleanliness to the flakiness of the flounder to the shrimp and hush puppies. I highly recommend eating here. I will eat here again when I am up this way.
