Have eaten at Dooley's several times The service is always top notch in the food is impeccable. My favorite is the roast beef sandwich it's always perfect. They also have a really nice beer selection.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice September afternoon lunch here. The weather was perfect for enjoying a meal outside, especially since we had our dog with us. We both enjoyed our meals and our waitress took good care of us, despite having to go in and outside.

We came in on a busy Saturday and found seats at the standing bar to have a wonderful lunch before we cut down our Christmas tree in West Jefferson! We love exploring local eateries and experiencing the culture of our beautiful state! Highly recommend the boneless wings!

Wanted to try something different for lunch so stopped by Dooley's today and after about a 30min wait for burgers we asked server someone then brought us chips out to make up for the wait but when you've only got 1 hr for lunch and wait that long there is no time to judge food or service she took order brought drinks and after awhile came to check on us with no food... Mr. Cohn Siad it was a system error.. we should of just walked out

I couldn't believe the selection of GOOD KY bourbon here. Some were priced below normal pours but some were a little overpriced. Overall it is a great place to have a neat bourbon and burger.

I went into Dooleys and ordered 2 double titos bloody Mary's. They tasted like water so I asked my server to check they were doubles. She came back and said they were. I had taken 2 sips of my drink and said then please take them back, have your manager take them off the bill please and I'll order something else. The server took away the drinks. Then a very rude and unprofessional woman came to my table and said she was the manager and the bartender and that those drinks were good! I asked her to try them because they weren't. She very rudely said I had to pay for them anyway. At this point there was nothing but water on my table. I had ordered food but none had come yet. So my boyfriend and I left. Now my picture is on thier website and Facebook stating that I dine and dashed! So im being slandered on the internet because of bad drinks bad service and bad management! I tried to contact the owner via Facebook and the locals and no one has contacted me.

In Wilkesboro for one night and found Dooley’s with an internet search. In a redone train depot the atmosphere was very cool.
Great service.
Meatloaf was the special and my wife said it was excellent. I had the chili - robust, lots of flavor and just spicy enough.

Was in Wilkesboro for training for my job and heard incredible things about Dooley’s, so I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the rare roast beef sandwich and it was delicious!!! The sandwiches come in three sizes, so I ordered the small (I had heard the sizes were crazy here) and the sandwich was enormous! I can’t imagine what a large would look like. There had to be a pound of meat on this thing, very impressive. Plus it was delicious! The home chips were great too. Highly recommend! Not to mention the bartender was phenomenal.
