Sagebrush Steakhouse Wilkesboro

We reserved for 10 people on Father's Day. Got there early and seated very fast! Ordered drinks, no problem. Ordered food. Waited 30 minutes, then had to ask for rolls and advertisers. Slow service. Understandable considering the day. Waited another hour and a half for cold food to be delivered. Server brought out 3 sets of utensils for a group of 9 people. Said the others will come when washed. Plus there still was no food!!Cancelled order, paid for drinks and left. Worst service I ever had!!!

Arrived at 1:45. Told a 20 min. wait, no problem. It was Sunday and Father's Day. We were seated within the 20. Ordered 2 teas w/lemon, no lemon. Ordered 2 salads w/1000 dressing. 1 came with 1000, the other with ranch, but that was okay. No rolls brought to table. Ordered chopped steak med well w/peppers & onions. Neither came on the steak. Ordered beef tips, medium w/peppers & onions. Received 7 tiny strips of meat cooked crunchy and less than 2 teaspoons of the p&o. Seated at 2:10, food not correct, arrived at 3:37 and we left at 4. Our waitress never returned and we had to flag down another lady to pay our bill. The kitchen couldn't keep up, and many people left. Evidently there was poor planning by management for the holiday.

I think this had to be one of the top 5 WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had at a restaurant. I think the waitress was really trying but our order was HORRIBLE!! Took over an hour to get food, my mom's plate was good, my dad's plate was 1/3 the size of food it was on mother's day (he ordered the exact same thing, salmon plate), my order didn't come till hour and half after ordering, philli cheese steak (come on 1.5 hours for a sandwich), when my philli finally came it was wrong, someother waitress said they didnt offer mozzarella anymore, WHY wasnt i informed of this when i orderes or told of this before making a philli with cheddar and bring it to me like i wouldn't notice or just eat it anyway.The waitress got the manager, who said was sorry but her attitude and attention to us said a different story, she NEVER OFFERED any discount of any type soI canceled my philli and told the manager I'd just fix me something at home. Told waitress it was one of worst experiences I'd ever had at a restaurant. Apparently she did tell manager cause she came back 15 minutes later and comped our meal. There we people who came in after us ate and were long gone and we still hadn't received our meal.
This place needs a total over haul on how they do bussiness, and if this is the way the manager handles customers then maybe she needs to be retrained or find a new line of work. Just don't know how the doors stay open with service like this !!!

We went today for Father’s Day and waited 30 minutes. After that we were seated and waited for our food. It took 30-45 minutes for a side Caesar salad to be served. It took another hour and a half to get our entrees. The food was not worth the wait and all they offered was a $10 off coupon. Our food, which was cooked the wrong temperature, should have been free!! Do not recommend. I can see why most Sagebrush restaurants have closed down. This was a disgrace.

The place is pathetically rundown
The food is not edible.
Salads-old rusty lettuce
Filet mignon- The texture of mush
Pork Chops - The two chops on the plate didn't equal the size of a decent single chop. Each Chop was less than 1/4 inch
Sprite and tequila had very little alcohol
My recommendation is NO GO

Great food…was very surprised that we were the only ones at the restaurant @8 pm in a Saturday.

!!DO NOT GO HERE!! Dead flys everywhere, place smells to high heaven, floors are sticky. No way I was staying in that nasty place. I did not wait to be seated.

We had supper here this evening as a family. From the time we walked in the door we were greeted by the sweetest Devenna and had an amazing server Emily. We ordered the potato skins as a starter and had the steak sizzler entrees they were cooked perfectly medium rare the potatoes peppers and onions accompanied this dish so well. By all accounts this was our best dining experience in a very long time. Emily truly made the evening with her attentiveness and kindness!

I visit my aunt once a year in Wilkesboro. This is where we always meet up when she is staying in her weekly timeshare. We always get great fresh food and the service has always been outstanding.

Food was not that good. Mac n cheese was ice cold, my girlfriend ordered a medium rare steak and it was so rare it was still bleeding. Her French fries were ice cold. The only good thing I got was the mashed potatoes. Our waitress was amazing and we usually don't complain but it was expensive for awful food. We went around 8pm.

This place used to be delicious years ago but the this my second visit in the last couple of years and it has really gone down hill. I won't be back.

Put one in Conover-we need a good steak house that way-

Chicken wings 6 mild and six bourbon and 2 side salads with balsamic vinaigrette great dinner and amazing service my son dresses up like the ghostbusters everytime we go here and the staff love interacting with him it makes his whole night great people and great food
