I'm a tea drinker... Don't like coffee and only go to Starbucks when my wife drags me in. Their tea is good quality (specifically black tea). But once tea reaches a certain quality, it's all the same. And what makes it better is a lower price, not more flavors or an upscale environment.
So if you enjoy the added fruit flavors or the ambience, then get your tea from Starbucks. Otherwise, brewed tea from most fast food places is generally cheaper, you don't have to wait as long, and there's no tip involved.
Specifically... Check out Hardee's, McDonalds, or Burger King for a 32 oz cup of brewed black tea--with no fuss

We have been stopping at this Starbucks for a few years on our way to mountains. The last 2 times were both on Friday nights in August and the service was terrible. We cwere the only people in the store. The barista got my wife's drink entirely wrong and was unapologetic. The Nitro Cold Brew machine was not working, was has been the case since July, and again the barista unapologetic about it. Also the toliet in bathroom had feces on the side of it. We told the baristas and were nonplussed about it. Very disappointing experiences this summer for sure

Location on strike... Just make the coffee and hush. Hardly anyone wanted a Starbucks in this county anyway. 2 coffee shops across the street. Use them.

Employees that ask for a tip for passing a cup of coffee through a drive-through window, decided to go on strike and shut the store down for two days. I won’t be back. Talia has better coffee anyway.

Randomly closed for 3 hours in the afternoon with no notice and no sign.
Stopped by an order at Drive Thru while traveling. The lady Olivia was so rude by her behavior and so many weird questions just for an order that why dont I think before I place an order or why I didnt check earlier when coffee was given at time of purchased few mins ago and so and so.,, I was feeling so ashamed giving her reason that why I could not drink the coffee earlier as it was almost cold but the order was for a hot one. It was unexpected and worse experience traveling across US due to my job. Every time I stop by Starbucks due to many reasons but customer service is one of these however this time it was so disappointing at this location unfortunately.

Stopped in on the best day. It was free holiday reusable cup day. They were especially busy but they somehow managed to fill my order earlier than the app predicted. My drink was perfect - it was definitely a custom drink & they got it right. Store was clean and well laid out. I noticed they had the ordered separated into alphabetical order which I never noticed in other locations. Made grabbing my drink a bit easier.

They are never great at customer service but on my last visit they refused to cash a 100 bill. There are no signs saying they don't accept larger bills. She wouldn't get a manager or try to help at all. Very poor service.
