The BBQ and brisket are both fantastic. WC has their own homemade sweet and savory sauce. Hush puppies are cooked fresh, and the sides are homemade. But best of all is the service that can only come from a family owned business. The owners are heartfelt, thoroughly enjoy talking to you, and taking care of your dining experience. If you ever find yourself in Wilkesboro, NC, make sure to stop by this quaint little barbecue spot—it's truly a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming staff that makes you feel right at home. They’re not just friendly but genuinely passionate about their food. We came for Rolling pines disc golf course and it was the perfect lunch for after your round. 10/10 would recommend!

This was hands down the best bbq in the Wilkes area, what a hidden gem! Pork and chicken smoked to perfection, and fabulous sauces. We tried a variety of sides - the slaws were fresh and crispy, traditional and red slaw (our favorite!), super creamy Mac and cheese, green beans that were smoky and meaty; and collards were perfect, not wilty. My husband who”s a frie snob loved the perfect crinkle fries. Best of all, the owners were so friendly and welcoming, just really great...
