Breakfast was delicious. There's nothing like good southern food. Shaw's is a staple in the community. I love visiting places like this when I visit my hometown. It reminds me of my childhood.
We were a little early for lunch so we had the breakfast. 2 eggs, Sausage, Ham, grits and toast.
I would like to go back and try the BBQ. However; I was not impressed with breakfast. Food was room temp. We got a flimsy plastic fork to eat a Sausage patty and country ham... I ended up eating my meal with my fingers. The toast was stale, crust was so hard I didn't eat it. The place did not enchant me.

Just got off phone with owner about mail order. Had this BBQ when I was boy part of my grandfathers tradition to bring back lots of this amazing BBQ to Ohio after seeing our family in NC. As boy i ate there great food. Im so thankful to have the opportunty to reconnect w my family history and regretfully i dont live closer. God bless
