This was our first time trying this place, with no expectations, and it exceeded any expectation I could’ve possibly had. The portions were way bigger than I expected and the quality was so good. Definitely will be back!

I wanted to like this place, but it is very disappointing. The lobster pasta had no lobster, the duck dumplings had no duck, and the chicken pot pie had tough chicken. While charging restaurant prices - minus the restaurant combined with horrible value makes this a never again place except for their cookies. One last note, they label food with code so that you can't tell when it expires (all 3 items were identified as the day 5 on the shelf - last day).

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Hot Dog special with chips and a drink. When I arrived at home found both were burned and the cook attempted to trim the char off. This did not remove the burned flavor. Was not worth the thirty minute drive back so I tossed it all. All the slaw and chili in the world couldn't make it taste better.

Food is decent, very over priced!
Worth a try I guess….. the disheartening part of the story is the customer service. Instead of adjusting the price of what I ordered for what I ordered she kept the price the same 21$ for two bbq sandwiches and 2 can sodas….. then wasn’t very nice or pleasant to me. Wouldn’t even make eye contact or tell me in return to have a good day. I’m a man of color and when they’ll greet and speak to every single white person in the store but me it’s clear as day!

I WILL NOT BE SPENDING MY MONEY IN A BUSINESS LIKE THIS!!

Lastly if they weren’t so busy talking and playing around in the back it wouldn’t take 15 mins to slap some pulled pork between two buns!!! When I watched a non color man get his food in about two mins!!

If you’re a person a color I wouldn’t support this business!

Stopped in mainly for curiosity, but left with a bag full of prepared goodies. Owner and staff were so friendly. The tetrazzini was great. However, the chocolate pie was ridiculously good! Best I’ve ever tasted in fact. Will be making the hour and a half drive back to Wilmington very soon just for another chocolate pie!

When traveling or even living in Wilmington, it's all about the know. Where's the best beach where's the best bar, where's the coolest people...I do t know all the answers but I know that NOMA is the best "local" restaurant and has the BEST BURGER IN TOWN. DAVES BURGER of the week is always creative and delicious. I order it every week before knowing what's on it! EVERYTHING is a delicious insider secret. Meatloaf, burgers hot dogs fresh fish you name it. Oh and everything is takeout which I personally love. Try it great food great people great local vibe

Wonderful take out store. Our salads were delicious , fresh and large.
Nice wine bottle selection.
You can order on line or in person. They also carry many pre made items.
A must stop for the Porters Neck area.

Wonderful place for lovely meals at home. I have been to similar takeout restaurants, but the food here is a step above. Cute and cozy inside. Friendly, helpful staff. You can't miss with this food shop/restaurant.

Noma was the best food I had during my stay in Wilmington. I believe this is a locally-owned establishment. The food is Americana. The desserts are incredible! Noma is take out, I think they also offer catering.

I had the BEST salad here yesterday. They have premade salads but you can also customize your salads. It was so good l called to let them know. This is a unique place where you can purchase unique wines, salsas, BBQ rubs and sauces, chocolate and premade dinners. Love this place! Highly recommend. I probably be getting my salads here daily.!

Food is good and convenient however they do NOT visible write the packaged date in the food containers. They put a “secret code”of their own on the container. PSA-This is not transparent to the consumer that is purchasing the food. They say it’s good for 5 days after you leave with it, however when I asked when this was package it was package 5 days prior (had to ask 2 times to get a specific answer for the exact date it was packed) So you’re selling me expired chicken salad and saying it’s good for the next 5 days as well? I don’t think so honey….chicken salad made with Mayo is only good for about 4 days after it’s made. This isn’t right, so I put it back and let her know I wasn’t purchasing d/t this. I don’t think I will be returning due to this reason and I will be reporting this to the health department & hopefully no one gets sick eating expired food from here…DO BETTER AND PUT PACKAGE DATES ON YOUR PREPARED FOOD
