My husband and I got married on 10/10 and the food is a compliment we still get! Everyone was obsessed with our Asian Persuasion Station, as they had never seen it before and ADORED the little to-go boxes of noodles. Everyone thought the food was so unique and fit our personalities, with the fried chicken and shrimp and grits being Southern but refined with the ahi tuna and salmon – a great mix of us! I had wanted a dessert bar from the beginning of planning to be our “favors” where guests can take home any desserts they wanted and the variety station they offered was perfect. I am still thinking about the blueberry bourbon tarts we got. We got those, banana pudding cups, strawberry cheesecakes, and chocolate chip cookies. PERFECT. The food was the biggest part of planning for my husband and he couldn’t stop talking about how excited he was for it as the day crept up and he was so happy. Plus, they provided us full meals of our wedding dish that we ate for lunch the next day, and it felt so nice reliving the moment. Outside of the food, Liz was WONDERFUL. She was always quick to respond, answered all my questions, and made changes to guest count if needed in a timely manner. During our tasting, she sat down with us and we just had conversations about what our goals for food was, what the presentation will look like, concerns about allergies, etc. things like that and she made me feel so at ease and it made the experience more fun and less stressful. I will recommend A Thyme Savor to anyone I know who needs catering, we had great customer service experience, had fun and was exciting, it was delicious, and we felt like soon to be newlyweds instead of another “client”. Just by looking at the online menu offerings, we knew Thyme was going to be the caterer for our wedding. We didn’t think the food could be any better than at our tasting…but it sure was. The hardest part was having to wait another few months after our tasting to enjoy the Deep South Chicken & Peaches again. Their Spring Strawberry Salad was phenomenal as a starting course, and their Peach Bruschetta (Crostini) as one of our hour d’oeuvres got everyone's taste buds watering. Don’t be fooled, those were just our favorites; everything was phenomenal! Their staff made the tasting, any menu adjustments, and the reception meal extremely easy, including allergy details, organizing serving, and the timing of courses for our plated dinner. During our reception, everything came out hot and ready to eat, and all our guests were extremely impressed and stuffed. When our wedding cake did show up during it's scheduled time, their staff even offered to go and pick it up. Thankfully that worked its self out, but we felt it is important to share this as an example of their stellar commitment to guest service and experience.
