Definitely check out Cargo City when in Wilmington! Super cool set up of shops & bar/restaurants in shipping containers. Great selection of local brews on tap. Food was excellent! We had the Brussels tacos, street corn, & smash burger. Indoor & outdoor seating. Great vibe!

We visited Beat Street Tacos on a Sunday about12:15. We ordered our tacos and I wanted an alcoholic beverage that you get at Alcove. The bartender was cleaning up a spill on the floor (which I totally understand) and took a few minutes as I was standing at the bar. He came back behind the bar and continued to do busy things never acknowledging that I was standing right there! My husband actually went to the car and came back and I was still standing there. I felt invisible! I told my husband to forget about it and I drank warm water with my tacos (which were good). That bartender is clearly in the wrong business! If I could give 0 stars I would since I had no service at all!

We decided to drive up from Fort Liberty for the day at Wilmington that did not involve the beach and my spouse suggested the Mess Hall ILM, let me say it did not disappoint. My daughter and I shared the loaded tots with chicken and a samburger and still had leftover tots! The burger was excellent and it was just simple but the onions and potato bun took it to another level. I have allergies and they did not use sesame seed buns! They also have veggie options which I will definitely try the next time. The 100+ miles was worth the day outing. Will be returning.

Groooooosssss. Food took forever and then was not edible. Service is horrible. Management is worse. Overall staff is rude and I wouldn’t call it clean.
